They are beginning their deliberations in the Dzhokhar Tsarnaev trial. He faced 30 counts in the Boston Marathon bombing. 17 of those could carry the Death Penalty. So if jurors find him guilty of any of those counts there will be another phase of this trial in which the prosecution and defense will put on witnesses and try and make the case whether tsarnaev should live or die. In closing arguments on monday both set up theories that take place in the Death Penalty phase of the trial if it gets that far. The prosecution saying that tsarnaev was a coconspirator with his older brother to carry out the bombing at the finish line. The defense, however saying that he was just an unwilling participant in the bombing, that he was under the control of his older brother. Were learning more about that it material that may have caused this fire. Its very similar to styrofoam. When the wind shifted, the way the trucks were positioned back there, they were trying to approach this from multiple directions, a couple of those trucks got caught in the action and they lost two trucks. We also learned information about what the Fire Department will do in a case like this. They tell me the fleet is large enough theres enough fire trucks they will be able to rotate some of the trucks over to the houses. So they wont be operating at a shortage. He sounds like his father did in his president ial runs in 2008 and 2012. He and his father dont see eye to eye on everything. What is it going to take for rand paul to win over his own party . Not everyone is on board with his ideas. The biggest challenge is on foreign affairs. The Republican Party and the age of isis and the iran talks is much more hawkish when rand paul came to the senate. For him u to succeed, hes going to have to hope the issues look like they did in 2011 and 12 when youre talking about the debt and economy, things more in line with libertarian ideas. Once you kind of focus more on foreign affairs, thats not as good of a place for him. Paul said that he has the best chance to beat Hillary Clinton. What do you think about that statement . Hes right in some of the polls. They show hes doing better amongst Hillary Clinton than other republicans. But its still early in the polls. Rand pauls biggest test will have to clear the threshold with republican voters. And the more the conversation is about Foreign Policy and National Security its a harder place for rand paul.
