And at some point, a Police Agency began to follow a vehicle matching the description of an suv involved in that incident. But it turns out that that was not the correct vehicle. They didnt know that at the time. The driver when they tried to pull that driver over, decided to flee from police, and the vehicle took off and ended up at maryland live casino in anne arundel county. Apparently, that driver parked in the parking garage of the casino and walked inside, where there were a lot of people there last night. Many people, like you say, decided to evacuate, get out of there because the police presence. Police questioned the man they had pursued, he was standing by a slot machine, apparently on his cell and police eventually determined that he was not involved in that carjacking. But they did search him. And during the search, they say they found more than 40 grams of marijuana. He was arrested, and charged with possession with the marijuana, and disoral conduct. A woman has been arrested after her grandson overdosed on methadone while in her care. Police say the boys mom rushed her 1yearold son to the hospital thursday after she picked him up from his grandmothers house and noticed something was wrong. That fire caused 250,000 worth of damage. But luckily nobody was hurt. One of the oldest churches our backyard. The Falls Church Episcopal was built back in 1769 and today they are honoring the slaves who helped build that church brick by brick. As derrick ward explains, its about recognizing the contributions of africanamericans to the american story. We hold in our hearts the deepest regret, and with gratitude and repentance, we honor the enslaved people who built the falls church. Theres a plaque honoring the architect, james wren, but Edward Henderson says the honors stopped short. But he was an architect, so he needed builders. And these were skilled laborers. While apologies are important, repentance is a change in direction. Reporter this Church Community figured prominently in the revolutionary war and the civil war. Headstones in the graveyard bear that out. Now another story in stone. And henderson says there is a lesson, too. I think that its important that we recognize our history and come to grips with it.
