The victim 30yearold David Messerschmit a lawyer with a powerhouse firm downtown found stabbed to death seven times in his fourthfloor hotel room. Now, this happened back on february the 9th. According to court documents, messerschmit using the handle dcguy456 went online soliciting responses from other men. They say he communicated back and ft. Worth someone identified as chrissanchez0906. They say messerschmit set up a meeting at his hotel room. The person who showed up at his hotel, Jamyra Gallmon. According to court documents, Jamyra Gallmon told the cops she had intentions of robbing messerschmit but as she went to leave the room he grabbed her arm. She had a flashback of an assault. And she stabbed him again and again. Tonight this statement from David Messerschmits wife. She says i have faith that the police and the courts will bring justice to david and all who loved him. Jamyra gallmon held without bond tonight pending further court action in the case. Now back to you. All of the students who survived the terror attack on a Kenyan College have been accounted for tonight. 147 people most of them students, were killed in the 13hour attack tongaon the Garissa College in northern kenya. Four attackers from al shabab were strapped with explosives and when police shot them the bombs went off, causing even more damage. The death toll is by far the highest of any attack by al shabab on kenyan soil. U. S. Investigators say it is indispensable, that is the second black box that was found today in the wreckage of that deadly germanwings plane crash. The news comes as new evidence suggests that the copilot intentionally crashed that plane. Reporter two major breakthroughs in the investigation into the germanwings crash. The investigators in germany said that they extracted some information from the tablet computer seized from the dusseldorf house of Andreas Lubitz, the copilot. They said that somebody and in this case of course they must mean lubitz during the week before that flight searched online for two things. Subsequently, the user was concerned with medical procedures but also informed himself about suicide methods. Furthermore, on at least one day the person in question sent several minutes looking into cockpit doors and their security mechanisms. Reporter that suggests, of course, lubitz did have thoughts of suicide before boarding that plane, but also that he may have planned to lock the pilot outside when he went to the pilot to then set that plane on a downward path that ended into the mountains. On the french side of the investigation, the french prosecutor said they finally found after ten days the second black box, the one that contains all the Technical Information of that flight, but also how the pilots responded to command. With that they can confirm that Andreas Lubitz did set the autopilot to 100 feet from an altitude of 38,000 feet, therefore sending the plane into a path that ended into the mountains but also they can exclude once and for all that it was a mechanical failure that caused that crash. Preliminary findings are out about the plane crash that killed young ryan mccaul. Two witnesses reported seeing a trail of smoke before the engine just before the plane fell to the ground in Orange County virginia. The Flight School owner says mccaul appeared to make a left turn earlier than usual. He was flying on his first solo trip involving a stop and a return flight. Mccaul had just over 30 hours of flight experience. An expired license tag turned into a huge heroin bust on i95. Reporter this doctor is an interventional cardiologist at the hospital. Care is delayed 20 to 30 minutes when people drove rather than waiting for emergency personnel. But an arlington dad tells me he was legally parked inside getting medicine when his two kids were almost towed away. Max daout parked his car today in the exact spot he was in last friday amp. The representative says, the vehicled a tinted windows, however, before removing the vehicle from the parking space occupants were noticed and the vehicle was never moved from its space. Arlington county Officials Say about 20,000 vehicles are towed each year from private parking lots. People receive about 50 to 75 xhapts each year and investigate each. About ten are found to be cases of improper towing. Max daout says he doesnt think he can file a complaint with Arlington County because his car was never actually towed. A spokesman for the University Says that student is no longer at duke. They are not releasing the individuals name. The noose was found early yesterday morning. State and federal Law Enforcement officials are considering whether that student will face any criminal charges. Student at the university of maryland took part in a forum today to share their thoughts about an offensive email that circulated on campus. It was sent bay former student and Fraternity Member last year. It contained racial slurs and rechbs to rape. University president wallace loh, who took part in the discussion described the email as hateful but said most of its content is protected by the first amendment. They are free to say whatever they want. Thats their freedom. But i hope they will learn to treat everybody, regardless of color, religion, background with respect, with dignity.
