Well, jim, they believe that the midshipman must have driven the sufficiev into the water soe late saturday or early sunday. A faculty member noticed that the midshipman was missing and called police. They discovered the vehicle, and when the suv was found they dispatched the anne arundel divers, and they found the midshipmans body. Naval Academy Officials tell news4, it is too early to rule anything in or out including alcoh alcohol. We have a full investigation under way and on going right now. A lot of the details of what happen happens and how the car ended up in the water are unknown. Now, they did notify the victims family, but out of consideration for them, they wont release the name until tomorrow. Well, jim, metro officials are taking this seriously, and all started here in the Congress Heights metro station downstairs where you get the fare cards and then it spilled out on to the street, and it was all caught on video. Oh, my god. Reporter and the video begins with several young people ganging up on one person inside of the Congress Heights metro station. You can see the person trying to get away, and even crawling into to a service room inside of the station while others watched. The videothen cuts to the plaza outside of the metro station. And you can see that two women are squaring off, and then begin to fight as others then join in. Oh, my god reporter nobody can be seen trying to stop the fight, but others can be heard encouraging it. The station manager called police, but did not intervene, which is what metro trains the mana managers to do in these situations. Police responded in five minutes burk but by the time they arrived most of the people had left. None of them reported the attack so the police doesnt believe it is random or robberies and as to why these young people are fighting, a metro spokesperson offers this as a possibility.
