More than niev,000 homes and powers are without power in northern new york, vermont, and maine. Thats due in part to heavy Ice Accumulation on power lines. Freezing rain and sleet is always causing dangerous driving conditions. In oklahoma, at least three drivers were killed after losing control on the icy roads there. Thousands are without power across that state. Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing there until tuesday. In fact, some are calling it a christmas miracle. There was a crack, a loud crack, and then people saw the ceiling falling down. But somehow, not a Single Person was hurt. Gods still looking out for us. Were down but not out, so its good. Members of the lomax zion church in arlington were sitting in these seats when suddenly the ceiling began to collapse. We were in there. And i heard move, move, and i saw the ceiling kind of came down. They were able to get out of the way before an entire section of the ceiling fell down. Showering the choir loft with debris. The choir members were coming, moving. Said what is going on. Then i saw a line going down the ceiling and it fell. And there were Services Going on at the time. The pastor was praying and speaking about angels. That goes to show you that the angels spread their wings so that nobody got hurt. Absolutely nobody got hurt. And everybody got out. But theres disappointment that this Historic Church built in 1922 was damaged just a few days before christmas. Relieved that no one was hurt, but it was still sort of scary to see. I felt sad to see part of my church being destroyed like that. Its a miracle of christmas. The ceiling collapsed and nobody got hurt. And Church Leaders have been told that the building is structurally sound so they will be able to continue to have services, but just avoid that choir area while these repairs are being made. He was involved in a confrontation before shooting arquetta and another man. They call ed police who quickly arrested muhyee and recovered a weapon. We know the name of a man shot and killed in northeast washington this morning. Police found 24yearold Michael Davis and another man shot on saratoga avenue near brentwood road. Both men were rushed to the hospital just after 4 00 a. M. Davis died at the hospital. Were told the other victim wasnt seriously hurt. Police dont have any suspects at this time.
