Earlier today, nbc news released its latest battleground map that shows Hillary Clinton with a slight edge in terms of electoral votes. There are still pathways to victory for either campaign. It all comes down to turnout. Joining us to look at the state of the race, nbc Political Editor mark reporter good. Both campaigns focused in North Carolina and pennsylvania today. Which states are the ones we need to be watching tomorrow . Reporter i really think to me there are three big states to watch. The first is florida. And the reason being, this is an absolutely must win state for donald trump. And if Hillary Clinton is able to win it, and we kind of know that earlier in the evening, that gives you a very good indication of how the night is going to end up being. Know youre in for a late night. Another state im watching is North Carolina, maybe the closest state in the country. It has really key gubernatorial, as well as Senate Contests that are going on there. And then, of course there is the state of michigan. And that is the state that donald trump and his campaign are trying to turn from blue to red. You know, the reality for the Donald Trump Campaign when you look at the battleground map, he is short of 270 for him to win, he has to pick off a michigan or maybe a pennsylvania to get there. Its a really tough thing for him to do, but it is possible. Mark, do you think its possible that well have a picture, a clearer picture in mind a little earlier, since were looking at the east coast states and not the western states . Yeah, doreen, thats why florida is so important. If all of a sudden, hillary remember, theres a tremendous amount of early voting thats happened in florida. Its possible that polls closed, were getting 70s of the votes in. Have a very good idea of whos ahead. If someone shes the one ahead by a pretty good chunk of chain then you can see how the rest of the night is going to play out. All eyes should be on florida, across the country as well, including in virginia. Mark murray, thanks so much. Dont will be one hour long tonight. You can watch it right after news4 at 6 00.
