As that clipper made its way in here. We never forecasted more than 3 to 4 inches in the d. C. Meo area at all so thats not a concern. They he 4 inches towards central park and will get more overnight tonight. That will be a big concern for them. For us our airport officially still under an inch of snow there but still snowing at the airport as we started to see things pick back up again. 34 degrees the current number 33 around 7 00 32 around 9 00. We notice snow and showers coming in snow showers making their way in temperatures below freezing and theyre already below freezing. 29 rockville, 28 gaithersburg 32 in bowie. Anything that falls tonight will start to stick on the roadways and we are getting reports especially into parts of Montgomery County tha we e starting to see some of those secondary roads starting to get snow covered. Theyll be on the slick spot early tomorrow. Now, this is whats going on with our syste and why weve been robbed of all the moisture moving to the north and east. Heres our clipper system. Anytime a clipper comes down normally if it moves to our south its going to provide everybody with a pretty good coating of snow a couple of inches at least. But this system is really helping this one out to the coast to redevelop offshore become a monster storm. Thats whats going on the blizzard making its way up. That secondary system actually robs our system of moisture. Thats why we did not see the snow today. The clipper dies very quickly. The coastal storm develops and we are robbed of good snows. But then we look to the actual big storm off the coast to send us more moisture and thats whats happening right now. Montgomery county seeing some snow. Northwest d. C. Prince georges all seeing some snow. And look whats happening over the last hour. Watch this movement from east to west coming off the ocean. That is a lot more moisture heading in. So we will see some band of heavier snow overnight tonight. Get ready for that and just know that waking up tomorrow morning. I expect to see another inch maybe as much as 2 inches in some areas. Some of you wont get anything, espe west of the i95 corridor. But some of us are going to continue to see it. Thats why we have that Winter Weather advi continuing. Reporte on facebook we found other passengers who posted similar frustrations with frontier. Traveling from ind thanksgiving week when we got to the airport we were told the flight had been canceled. This post is from a family who planned a trip to disney world because of a frontier flight deal. The post reads, we even sprung for a more expensive resort since we saved so much on airline tickets. But their flight too, was canceled. There seemed to be so many cancellations and delays that we asked frontier about them and complaints theyre getting. A spokesman told us frontier is focusing on lowering complaints and that its Senior Leadership team is directly engaged on the issue in impein performance. Fronti promise of reliable service. I feel like they didnt handle the situar says if a flight is canceled or delayed passengers can get a full refund or rebook with frontier. All three women we interviewed offered for the refund and never took their trips because booking with other air fares were too expensive. I went online similar flight time same dates, the flight was 1,800 out of our budget. Reporter other low Cost Airlines like jetblue, spirit and southwest have the same policy for a canceled flight refund or rebook or airline. Spirit offers 50 for a future flight a. But we didnt find the same kind of complaints for these airlines maybe because they offer more flights. While frontier claims 270 nonstop flights each day, southwest has more than 3,600. Thats a big difference if youre trying to rebook your flight. Will you fly with frontier again . Oh no. Im done.
