The assault here happened about a week after a new york Police Officer shot and killed a man who attacked him with a hatchet. The policekathy lanier says the Police Officers are becoming targets. This is the second Police Officer attacked with an axe in just a few days. So it is a little concerning. Reporter the chief says she sent out warnings to the officers to be on alert. The suspect, he is still at large. The chief says she hopes to have him in custody by halloween night. The man linked to three attacks on women in virginia could soon be moving to Fairfax County, Jesse Matthew is currently jailed in charlottesville charged in the disappearance of hannah graham, appearing by video in a fairfax courtroom today on attempted murder and rape charges in a case nearly ten years old. I have sent a motion to the prosecutor requesting that several doctors in this area who are very, very good at forensic psychiatry and psychology be appointed to do a full evaluation of mr. Matthew. The capture of an accused killer means that halloween celebrations will go on in a northern pennsylvania community. Eric frein made his First Court Appearance after 48 days on the run from authorities in the wilderness. He is charged with the ambush of corporal dixson, and the wounding of another. She says during ebola Training Demonstration at the hospital last week nurses were shown protective gear that left the neck exposed. Today, a providence spokesperson told us the hospital has since received hooded equipment. The nurses union says they need more. Corey lamb is negotiating the contract with providence.
