Things escalated to the point where the entire building was evacuated. There is some concern that the man might have what is bombs strapped to his body. There was arson at a nearby car. The man is laying on the ground. When he voluntarily started to leave the building, he was shot by he wouldnt take his hand out of his pocket. They were concerned there was some kind of trigger mechanism that might cause bombs to explode. As a result, theyre now using a robot that is moving in to try to pull his hand out of his pocket. That is happening right now. The man is injured, so theyre trying to get his hand out, if for no other reason to get help medical help. Instead of doing the newscast, theyre standing here. Just after we sent that shot in for you all, we talked to the gentleman who was standing in the security gate. He said the 20somethingyearold white man walked in and said he wanted to talk to somebody at fox 45 and he had a bomb on his body. The Security Guard hit what i guess you could call a panic button to inform staff there was an incident. He discreetly called 911 so police would be notified they were having a problem. Staff began to evacuate the building very rapidly. He ended up speaking to the man, the suspect, for about 45 minutes. It became very apparent to him this gentleman wanted to talk to somebody. The Security Guard kept telling the man who claimed to have the bomb on his body that people were out at lunch right now, he would try to find somebody, they were trying to get ready for a newscast. He kept using these stalling tactics until Police Called him on the phone and said can you get out of the buiin to which he said yes. He looked at the man and said ive got to go, but ill be back. At that point, the Security Guard really teared up. I said you look like youre pretty upset about that. Yeah, because he knew he wasnt coming back. It was very obvious to him that this man just wanted to talk to someone, obviously had troubles. He has some guilt about the fact that he left them, but he knew he had to get out of the building because this could be a bomb. Nobody knows for sure if this is a bomb, but they have to act like it is. They dont want something to go off by accident. Right now, im watching the fox 45 staff using a camera and a live shot kit. Researchers attribute the change to a 51 drop in teen births among hispanics and a 44 drop among blacks between the years 2006 and 2014. Still birthrates as twice as high in those groups than white teens. It has dropped more than 40 over the past decade. The cdc says the u. S. They say the residents of this place held a party and at that party a 16yearold was, according to police, violated.
