Thats just filling the space that should be brains. She traveled at 11 weeks gestation, became symptomatic at 12 weeks and the first time an ultrasound showed abnormalities was at 19 weeks. We know it took in her case seven weeks for the virus to have its effect that again, thats a local case here in the d. C. Area, and the doctor was responsible for overseeing, monitoring that case. The headline on the zika virus story is still how much the experts dopts know abont know. Theyre learning more every day. This case is helping raise other questions, for example, the couple involved in that pregnancy locally, how long do they have to wait . They both tested negative now. The virus is gone from both of them, but how long do they wait now before trying for another pregnancy, and there are no really good answers for that. Not just for this case but, you know, think of all the ob gyns nationwide trying to figure out what to tell their patients. We have some scattered storms out there with temperatures by 7 00 p. M. Still in the 70s. Can you believe it . Last time we were in the 80s was in november. Rain will be east of the area by 9 00 p. M. It will hold onto Southern Maryland as we go into the evening. So Southern Maryland, Eastern Shore could still see some of this rain as this frontal system is going to kind of straul oallo the south and east. Look at this storm blowing up going into frederick county. That storm is moving east at 55 miles an hour. Weve got some pretty strong winds in there as well, and maybe even a little bit of small hail. This storm up by Carroll County is headed off to the masondixon line just well north of baltimore. If your travels take new that direction, youre going to be heading into that, but its probably going to be gone by the time you get there.
