Reporter new tonight, charges have been filed after Officials Say the stories about what happened in the moments just before the crash didnt match. Metro Transit Police officers downloaded video from cameras on board the bus, which held more than a dozen passengers when it collided with a tree on east west highway west of grub road about 4 15 p. M. The bus drive was severely injured and briefly trapped in the vehicle. Local hospitals with lesssear just injuries. Police are focussing on the actions of a white pickup truck. The bus is equipped with cameras inside and out, not only the constantly recording kind but drive cam that is triggered like an event like this. According to a spokesperson, he is being uncooperative. The video doesnt show exactly what happened inside the room, but you can hear samuel shields screaming. Tonight a Prince Georges CountyDetention Center spokesperson tells us the department can not comment on the video because its in its in their office of law pending litigation. Regina shields has filed a lawsuit. Two years ago, the spokeswoman told news 4 that shields was disruptive, separated from other inmates and became medically distressed. He was later taken to the hospital where he died. I think they could have shown more compassion towards him as a human and knowing he had health problems. Reporter he was arrested when he got into a dispute over a 2 bus custody. Do you think that hes having a Mental Illness episode in that video . Yes, you can tell by some of the things he was saying. Very unusual case, very tragic and horrible results. Investigators say the suspect told detectives the victim begged for his life before he died. The case goes before a grand jury july 5th. A rabies scare in fairfax county. A man says he was scratched by a cat when he was walking along the long branch trail near the Springfield Metro station.
