>> reporter: police were called here to fairlawn street here in hillcrest heights this evening for a report of shots fired. when they got here, they realized this was not a shooting, they say two teenaged boys have been assaulted. they suffered facial injuries, they are expected to be okay. a woman who came here to the scene indicating she knew one of the victims said that there had been some kind of altercation. there is a carnival taking place right across the street from here at the iverson mall. police are investigating to see if there is a connection. earlier this evening, prince georges police web with the to a double shooting on terrace lane. it wasn't very far from this scene. that was not connected to this assault. one woman was pronounced dead inside an apartment there, there was a second woman shot in the leg, she was somehow able to make it to a nearby liquor store where she reported the crime. >> what we were able to find out preliminarily at this point is that we had two victims that suffered gunshot wounds. apparently it looks like the victim in the 3500 block of terrace drive sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital and pronounced. the second victim we're still trying to determine how they got to the 2300 block of iverson street. they sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. apparently that victim went into a liquor store, found an offduty sheriff who assisted that victim. >> now, these are still very active investigations. police say no arrests have been made in either one of these cases. reporting live from hillcrest heights, darcie spencer news 4. >> thanks, darcie. a shooting forced early voting to be suspended at a wreck center in northwest washington today. police say a man was shot just outside the tacoma community center around 3:30 this afternoon and ran into the building for help. no voters were inside at the time, the building was placed on lockdown for a short time. the victim was taken to the hospital, he's expected to be okay. police are looking for as many as four suspects wearing neon colored shoes. by now you probably know if you're a mega millions winner or not. and someone from maryland just north of the d.c. area will soon be among the latest inductees into the multimillionaires club. derek ward has more on the winning ticket sold at a 7-eleven in baltimore county. >> reporter: who with purchased the winning mega millions ticket here?
