Heres what were learning about the men killed. 32yearold Montrell Jackson had been a cop for ten years. His family called him a gentle jien. 41yearold Matthew Gerald had been on the force less than a year and Brad Garafola was 45 years old. Bullets started flying when the officers were called to a gas station less than a mile from police headquarters. Shots fired officer down shots fired now the original call qam came in yesterday afternoon for reports of a man with an assault rifle. The officers were ambush they arrived. The suspect was killed.
