Check out the special section we have created at www. Wral. Com nbc. Bottom line is we are all staying. We are not going anywhere. You may want to bury the hatchet is after what is coming to market what we are looking at is worrisome because were looking at the parameters of what is producing Severe Weather across louisiana, and mississippi today, similar numbers showing up for us here tomorrow. Weve got to watch the weather closely tomorrow. Were talking the likelihood of damaging wind gusts. That is a certainty. What is not certain if the amount of tornadoes we could see across the area. We should see a few but will be on the lookout for potential for some large hail, too. Lets take a look at whats happening, it is quiet. Were in a very stable hermas. One thing that is not all that great tomorrow is the instability. A lot of significant Severe Weather parameters are coming together that would suggest that we would have damaging wind. The winds tomorrow a few hundred feet off the ground, 50 to 55 Miles Per Hour. Grab those winds and force them to the ground, it will be easy to see wind gusts up to 70 Miles Per Hour with thunderstorms, one of the threats. All is quiet out there, drizzle, mist, spotty light rain, rather chilly. There is a warm front east of the coast moving north and west as we go to the evening and overnight in temperatures rise, especially south and east of the triangle. Also just issued is a wind advisory in effect for tomorrow morning until midnight tomorrow night. Sustained winds, 20 255 Miles Per Hour, 30 to 35. These may come down, power may go out in locations as well. Outside of thunderstorms or tornado threat, we have the threat for gusty winds that could cause problems outside of any thunderstorms. This is Something Else to watch out for, too. Lets take a look at whats happening on the durham skycam. Ugly looking day. Drizzle, mist, fog , rather chilly. The temperatures have but 1 degree since you joined elizabeth at noon on wral. We should remain in the mid to upper 40s for the triangle west and south and east it will next several hours. 51 fayetteville, 52 goldsboro, 48 rocky mount. A wedge of cool air in place, and the problem with the weather tomorrow is the warmer air that is coming in would have to scour out the cool air. We dont get this cool air scoured out, the threat for Severe Weather will be minimized locally north and west the greater down for the east coast. Thats one of the things were watching tomorrow. Thats expanded view. Focus on whats happening. We have an area of low pressure in the atmosphere. This is intensifying as it moves to the east and northeast atmosphere. Right now, mississippi, louisiana under the threat for Severe Weather. Tornadoes. That shift this evening to alabama, panhandle of florida, georgia and for the day tomorrow, south and North Carolina. Lets take a look at the threat pick moderate risk but it has been expended for parts of alabama, mississippi, louisiana, florida and georgia. For us tomorrow we are looking at what we call an enhanced with greater will likely be several thunderstorms that will be severe. Its possible we could see this upgraded to a moderate risk which would put us at a threat, the threat is greater for the triangle, damaging wind, few lets take a look at futurecast. Missed, fog, tomorrow morning as we start the day, some showers moving into the area. Some of them could be severe down for the coast. The weather that is coming tomorrow may come into lines. The first line approaching around lunchtime. The way that the winds are set in the atmosphere, there is a change in the wind direction with type that would lend us some rotation with individual super cells ahead of the mainline off to the west. So from 10 00 a. M. Until lunchtime, we see the results coming in that could produce some tornadoes. During the afternoon we should see a straightline wind event, coming through the triangle, and moving to the coastal plains. Its possible error Severe Weather tomorrow could be coming after 6 00, inc. To quiet down and it should be cooler tomorrow night. By 8 00 this evening, drizzle, missed, fog, clouds, 45. Spotty light rain as well. Most of that close to where they are right now, mid 40s to low 50s for fatal and goldsboro, temperature start to rise, 56 by 8 00 a. M. , tomorrow 71 raleigh, 75 fayetteville. There is the 7day forecast. Six apart tomorrow evening, the threat shall have subsided. Thursday, friday and saturday look good.
