The charges coming just a month before the statute of limitations expired on the accusation made by andrea constand, the former Temple University employee claiming cosby, her former mentor and friend, sexually assaulted her in 2004 in his pennsylvania mansion. Mr. Cosby urged her to take pills that he provided to her and to drink wine. The effect of which rendered her unable to move, respond to his advances. Reporter when constand first made the accusations, prosecutors decided there wasnt enough evidence to pursue the case and constand later settled with cosby in civil court.
