The organization cleesing its university of Oklahoma Chapter and tossing out members after a video surfaced so shocking we have bleeped out the offensive words overnight the National Chapter of sigma alpha appearing to show members using a racist chant. And now more than a year later, a jury will decide if her death was a tragic accident or a crime that the movie makers could have prevented. They messed up real bad. Director Randall Miller and his wife and the movies executive producer all charged with Involuntary Manslaughter and criminal trespassing. The most challenging aspect is to be able to prove who did what and who is legally responsible for this tragic accident. In a statement miller and his wife said we would never knowing knowingly or intentionally put anybodys safety at risk and in civil court miller said it was not his job to get permits. Im not the one that has permits. I was in the middle of the track and i almost died. Miller and the others pleaded not guilty facing up to a decade in prison if convicted. Lillys mother 25yearold jennifer grossback was killed but her toddler survived trapped in upside down inches away from water so cold it sent three Police Officers and four firefighters to the hospital with hypothermia. Ed plays a former mob boss and liam his number one hit man. Theyre long time friends turned enemies when one is forced to kill the others son to protect his own son. Im the only one that ever cared about you and all of that ended an hour ago when you killed my son. Im coming after your boy with everything i got. I wont let you take him, shawn. You got no choice. And when its done and it will be done you and i are going to meet back here at this restaurant at this same table that i used to share with my boy and im going to look you in the eyes just like youre looking at me in the eyes right now and im going to see how empty they are without your son in the world. Its intense but theres an intimacy to it as well. I was watching and im like it cant be. First time working together . Yeah yeah yeah. We have mutual friends and all the rest of it. Ed has made over 70 pictures and i made over 70 pictures. This is the first time. We never met before. Get out. For the reading around the round table, yeah. I heard you relished the opportunity. Sure yeah. Definitely. Ed is a great actor. Its a Mutual Respect situation. And it was especially playing two characters supposed to have this history together. We just kind of fell into it because it really comfortable and totally trust liam as an actor and vice versa. It was great. What comes through jumping through the screen. Its a good story, isnt it . It is. Even though its intense, there is an odd intimacy to it as well. To set it up you all are long time friends and you turn to enemies because of the fateful night when your son is about to be shot by your son and he does what a father has to do. Yeah. Redemption retribution, i know that was something that drew you to it when reading the script. Yeah. The main thing was this gentleman sitting next to me right here. You know. Once we got into it yeah, i get a call from him telling me hes killed my son and part of the pain hearing that news is not just that my son is dead, but that i know what i have got to do because these guys live by a certain code. You take one of mine im going to take one of yours and you. Sure. It really played out. You said liam that you have got two sons. Sure, yeah. And this movie youre trying to win back your sons trust. Absolutely. So its funny, we were doing people were asking how does that all come to play the fact that youre a parent . Of course it does. You know what i mean . Its not a big leap of the imagination. My son in the picture is my eldest boys first name michael. So its an easily leap to make you know what i mean . The action in this and i looked up and im like is that nick nolte there. But your fight scenes and mark is your long time stunt double but you mix it up and like to be in the fight scenes. I like doing my own fighting yeah yeah yeah. We have done 16 pictures together. He does all the heavy stuff, you know. Keeps you young, robin, you know. And you are young at heart. And ed you were very busy because while you were doing this you were also on broadway doing eight show as week . Yeah a play called the jacksonian. The production was great. They worked it out. I wasnt working on the film every night. A couple times i do the play and then go shoot that night. But it was fine. Excuse me. He was Getting Police escorts every night to make the half hour call. You know. Youre going to tell him a little bit. Im going to tell on him a bit. We have julian going to be here tomorrow for the 50th anniversary of the sound of music and we have the film that you did with her. Look at that. Memory lane. Lets go right here. Lets see it. Girls right now which is all about teaching girls through writing how to help themselves and mentorship and education. And then kate atwood kates club is kids who have lost parents and so the four are very, very different. And i encourage everyone to go online and to read about them and then to vote and the prize whoever wins will win 50,000 and all of them will win a lot of exposure. Thats priceless. Because its so interesting to see these women who personally have had the courage to fight and the power to survive and then the leadership to help. And when you described them like that, you know who i think of . I think of your mother. I think of your mother because she was a survivor. My mother was a survivor. She was a holocaust she was in the camp. She weighed 49 pounds. She wasnt supposed to survive. She did survive. When she got married the doctors said dont have a child for another five years because they wont be normal and you wont survive. She survived and i was not normal. And were so glad. But you have made it part of first of all im wearing one of your wrap dresses. I cant believe recently we celebrated 40 years of this. That was my way to empower myself. And the minute i was empowe confident i was selling confidence. The woman i wanted to be. Thought i knew everything about you but then i read your book and the times you were on the verge of bankruptcy and people saying you cant do this. You knew your truth. Every morning when you wake up you have different challenges but you have to take them on and deal with it the best you can and then sometimes you realize that what you thought at first was a bad thing turns outs to be a good thing.
