New for you this morning a woman escapes death after being pulled from the window of her burning home. The fire started on north Stanley Street in Strawberry Mansion after 4 00 a. M. Philadelphia Police Officers on routine patrol spotted smoke coming from the home. They called firefighters crews arrived to find smoke pouring from the first floor, the woman was hanging out a second floor window screaming for help. She was rescued and taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. No word on what caused the fire. New, a driver is dead after a chase ended with a fiery wreck that happened in Montgomery County. This happened around 1 00 a. M. On the 300 block of main street in red hills. Police say an officer tried to pull the car over after noticing there was no license plate. The car ended up slam into a utility pole and bursting into flames. Police say the officer tried several times to rescue the driver, but the fire was too intense. The officer was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. The baby kidnapped from the king of prussia mall is safe and the woman accused of snatching him is in jail on 500,000 bail. This is 32yearold Cherie Amoore as she walked into court yesterday afternoon. Prosecutors say she befriended Ashir Simmons mother at the mall on thursday, despite her refusal to hold the 7 weekend old baby boy, the suspect picked him up and walked out of the mall. The baby and suspect were found in tredyffrin. The babys mother tells dann cuellar her world was shaken. I dont want to go outside, i just want to keep my kids in the house where they are safe.
