Supreme court, the justices have agreed to review the travel ban on visitors from 6 mostly muslim countries. The case will be argued in october allowing the ban to take effect with them. Only those with credible bona fide rips with people in the relationships in the u. S. Will be allowed in the county. The ban will take effect in 72 hours. The court agreed to take on a new dispute between gay rights and religion. A state court sided with the samesex couples after they accused a baker of discrimination for refusing to make them a wedding cake. The Supreme Court will review the colorado courts decision this fall. Well have a live report on the Supreme Courts actions today coming up in the next halfhour. The search is on for a hitandrun driver who almost ran over a group of Philadelphia Police officers. They had to jump out of the way to avoid the car this morning at a juniata park intersection. Reporter sarah this was a close call, police have not been able to track down the driver of the black nissan possibly an ultima with tinted windows Police Bicycles damaged but the officers unscathed. Officers say a speeding car just missed officers investigating a crime scene in juniata park overnight. This may have been intentional balls because it approached them narrowly missing the officers striking the three police bikes. Reporter this happened at 2 30 a. M. , police were on the scene for a separate matter a carjacking involving a chrysler the owner was injured by the perpetrators. As officers surrounded the car a speeding black nissan same barreling toward them at 60 miles per hour, the officers jumped out of the way, but the driver slammed into three Police Bicycles drive over them. One bike was thrown into a cruiser. The carjacking victim and his girlfriend were on the scene to identify the suspects in the car jack, but didnt see the nissan but the scene was hard to miss. There were 80 cop cars around here. Reporter the nissan drove between the bikes and the stopped car. During the course of this taking the car off the street and argue carjackers they have to deal with being confronted by a vehicle coming at them in an apparent attempt to strike and mow them down. Reporter there are some surveillance cameras in the vicinity, but theres no word if police were able to find any footage that will be helpful to the investigation. Police have identified a 33yearold woman found dead behind dobbins high school. Police are looking for the person who stabbed debra gulliver. Her body was found at 21st and lehigh on a path in the park behind the school. Police were directed to the area after another person reported being robbed by two men inside the park. Investigators into not have a description of the suspect. Philadelphia District AttorneySeth Williams is back in federal court for more testimony in his corruption trial. This morning the Deputy Police commissioner, joe sullivan took the stand. Vernon odem is live in center city with more on what he told the jury. Reporter the Deputy Police commissioner had an explosive story to tell saying he responded to Seth Williams request to aid a constituent as Seth Williams described it but became suspicious of muhammad ali and Seth Williams. The first witness, joe as you s, the chief inspector back in 2012 in charge of the Homeland Security detail including Philadelphia International airport. Sullivan testified that district williams contacted him on behalf of a constituent, humid muhammad ali of feasterville. He said he was being racially profiled. Sullivan testified he had an officer expedite his passage through Airport Security once and later he was invited to lunch with ali and williams at the union league where he made the same complaints.
