Police are investigating a second kidnapping in a week, they believe the two incidents are related. The latest abduction was reported later afternoon at the arundle apartment on cross fork drive. This happened as the investigators searched for a man who kidnapped a woman at a hill top apartments. It is gunman forced her back into the vehicle to drive her to nearby atm to withdraw money. Now an agonizing ordeal for a Home Invasion victim who was beaten and left to suffer for two days before someone found him tied up in his own bedroom. Reporter sarah and rick police say this was a planned out attack, but they dont know what the motive was or if anything was taken inside the home. The 50yearold victim is in the hospital wheres recovering. Its a good hard working guy. Reporter this is the home where a brutal Home Invasion took place friday evening, the victim not to be found until sunday afternoon. He is such a good guy. He fixes things. Its got to be hard, hes got to be hungry and tied up. Reporter the victim is a mechanic who fixes small engines and machines at his shop in the corner of his home. When he works he keeps the garage door open. He asks people to come in and drop off lawnmowers and picks them up. Reporter the victim was in the garage when two men armed with a gun and Wearing Masks and gloves open through the garage door. Theres nothing across the street to park, you cant see, if they come in, boom, they are in. Reporter police say the men grabbed the victim and dragged him to a second floor rear bedroom and tied him up with electrical tape and stuffed a rag in his mouth. The suspects pistol whipped the victim and left after 15 minutes. When the victim did not turn up for a family function on sunday, his brother grew concerned. He climbed up the second floor and found his injured brother and took him to the hospital. The police found a bloody air gun in the bedroom who they say say the victim was assaulted and unable to free himself. There were cameras inside and outside the home, that captured much of the incident. So far police have not released the video. Traffic is moving on the new jersey turnpike after a crash in mounts laurel. Police say a large truck overturned in the northbound lanes north of exit 4. The driver lost control and the truck spilled bruise on the highway. Crews produce on the highway. Police righted the truck by 7 00 a. M.
