In other news, two Philadelphia Police officers are nursing injuries after a violent struggle well a suspect overnight. Both suffered severe bit marks and had to be hospitalized. Reporter both Police Officers were treated and release and the 32yearold suspect has a history of selling and using drugs and when they saw him they believed he was breaking into a vehicle that is when things turned violent. That is a nasty, nasty injury and you know battling with this individual and you never know what you will come upon. Richard ross talking about the injuries sustained by two of his uniformed 24th district Police Officers on the 1200 block of east atlantic street. And they spotted a suspect trying to break into the honda and when they approached a violent struggle began, the officers were kicked and bitten on their arms and hands. The suspect bit so hard he broke skin and drew blood but police got him into custody. Now facing charges of assault against an officer and fleeing the scene. A power outage caused no school for students in allentown. All the after school and athletic programs are also canceled. Breaking news now out of north carolina. District attorney announced there will be no charges in a Police Involved killing that made National Headlines and sparked several nights of unrest in charlotte. The officer brently vincent who is black acted lawfully when he shot and killed Keith Lamont Scott in september. It showed the confrontation with scott and the officers as he sat in his parked car. The da says there was evidence that he was armed. They say that he was not armed. And suffered from a traumatic brain injury. And they ripped through a heavily trafficked tourism region there.
