Reporter police have identified a person of interest but they are not sharing the name with us. Its not clear if the person is in custody. They said earlier they were reviewing the Surveillance Video and the blood trail led them to interesting clues. We found a 32yearold female with a serious laceration to the throat and was immediately pronounced by paramedics. The blood trail took them to southwest philadelphia, they believe the blood from the person responsible for slashing the victims. He had injuries as a result of this altercation and cut somewhere, and we did notify the hospitals locally in the area, to notify us if someone comes in with a laceration. Here at 56th and baltimore that blood trail led them to possible key evidence. We found more blood near a sewer inlet and we opened it up and found what we believe is the murder weapon. Crime scene investigators recovered a steak knife and the young womans body was found on the sidewalk after she failed to arrive at a Family Friends home at 11 00 p. M. , the friend walked outside only to find the victim and call 911. Neighbors reacted. Its pretty dark here at night. You know, its frightening, and its really good around here, its really nice. Police have not identified the victim but this morning they were talking to the victims parents and if you have any information you are asked to contact police. New video shows the vehicle engulfed in flames at 5 30 this morning, it happened at dolphin street. The victim was taken to university hospital. The victim said it was from a car bomb. A man is struck by a train on the market frank ford line. The man was either lying down or with a leg extended over the platform when he was hit. First responders were able to rescue him when he got trapped between the train and the platform. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Septa resumed full service but riders are experiencing residual delays. The city of charlotte, North Carolina, is under a state of emergency as anger builds over a Police Involved shooting there. Protesters violently stormed into the heart of downtown charlotte. The hornet team storm was looted and fireworks thrown at police as they fired back with flash bombs and tear gas. We gave additional orders to disperse and protesters continued to flow objects. The streetses were open and we are hoping for peaceful day, and we are preparing for this evening. Scotts family says he was holding a book and unarmed when he was shot. The police shot by daddy four times for being black. And police say that scott had a gun and would not drop after being told numerous times to do so. They released a picture of the weapon at the scene. Mr. Scott exited his vehicle with a handgun after authorities ordered him to do it. The officer that fired the shot is identified and also africanamerican is and on paid leave.
