Annie mccormick is live at Thomas Jefferson hospital. Reporter this cab driver was lucky he was able to fend off this attacker and only had slashes to his hand. He was able to drive himself to Thomas Jefferson hospital. This video was released by Police Moments ago. This is a video they want people to see because this is the man they believe was responsible for the Early Morning attack. He put the knife on my neck this center city cab driver picked up a fare and when the fare got in the threats began. He attacked me with the knife and said i have a gun and i can shoot you. Give me money. Reporter a fight ensued and the driver could not get to his phone to call 911. The suspect cut the cab driver with a knife initially telling him he had a gun too. And he gave up the cash and the suspect ran. He had a knife put to his throat and that is when our perpetrator announced the robbery. For some reason the cab driver, and our perpetrator got into a physical struggle over the knife and that is when the cab driver ever was cut two times in his hand. And brisk and cold today 29 degrees and tomorrow 30 with a snow squall at night and a high of 20 on saturday in the morning and temperatures crashing in the afternoon. And lows of 2 overnight and sunday a high of just 19 degrees and sunday morning well have windchills at their worst. Probably in the negative 10 to negative 25 degree range depending on where you are.
