We talked to the director of Emergency Management a little while ago and he had this assessment of the situation in ocean city. Overall we faired a little better than what the worst of the predictions were. This could have been a half foot higher that would have been a tenyears event. The water came up close to covering 34th street but never made it across. They are calling it a typical noreaster in ocean city, they know the neighbors will flood and nothing compared to sandy and nothing compared to the noreaster of veterans day in 2009, where there was serious flooding here.
