The wide view shows you rain that was heavier came through overnight and theres a little bit more shower activity to the west that will probably bother us a little later in the morning and into the early afternoon. In between we may actually see some bright patches in the skies. And that flood advisory that was in effect along the coast and in bucks county has now expired. 60 degrees in philadelphia currently. 53 degrees in allentown, 58 in trenton. 57 degrees in wilmington so pretty mild out there despite the damp conditions. And as we go through the day, we do expect some sun coming back. By noon, 67. By 3 oclock, 75 and in the early to midafternoon hours a spotty shower or a thunderstorm possible but after that were really drying out and getting pretty nice. By 5 oclock, 73. This is a hazmat situation. Its an accident involving two the tractortrailers. One has jackknifed. Theres a 60gallon fuel spill on the who it way. This is i95 southbound approaching cottman. Probably the worst place you can have an accident like that because thats the first place you start to jam up on i95 so the delay is just growing quickly. We can see at this point only one lane is getting by. Look at this stacked up traffic on i95 southbound approaching cottman. State police are saying theyre waiting on the heavy duty tow truck. Once it comes theyre going to assess whether or not they need to shut down the roadway. They originally said they definitely were, now theyre still evaluating it. They dont want to have to shut it down but they may need to. Nonetheless its a real backup with only one lane getting by. This is what it looks like right now at i95 and you can see near Academy Traffic is just not moving. A 42 minute jam already and thats just because of a delay on i95 southbound approaching could the man. On the maps you can see at times youre traveling 5 miles an hour. Traveling in the 30s near woodhaven but 5 miles an hour as you get closer to cottman. You can take street road, thats your best alternate and then get back onto i95 near the tacony palmyra bridge because at that point that traffic eases up so a mess on i95 with that, jackknifed tractortrailer. Detectives believe two shooters came from the east of the scene, opened fire and fled possibly in a small gray suv. Four men were hit ranging in age from 25 to 30. Two were pronounced dead at the hospital within a half an hour. Earlier this morning we learned a third victim succumbed to his injuries. A fourth victim is in Critical Condition. Drug paraphernalia was found at the scene. City Council PresidentDarrell Clarke is outraged about the gunfire in his district which broke out as School Children were dealing dismissed about a block away. His son, benjamin, found the gun and shot himself. The search continues for three boys who police say abducted and sexually assaulted a 13yearold girl in hunting park. The action cam was there as city workers boarded up the abandoned home where it happened yesterday to make sure it was secure and shut. The attack happened around the 1300 block of west butler street on sunday evening. Police say a 13yearold girl was walking down the street when three boys grabbed her and took her to the abandoned house. She was taken to Saint Christophers Hospital for children for treatment. What we can tell you is weve got this big accident and now two lanes are getting by on i95 southbound at cottman. The still see a number of vehicles here but not as many as we saw before when hazmat was out here so hopefully theyve cleaned this up. Its unclear but what we know its a major jam on i95. A huge delay on i95 and its no the even jammed yes et cetera at the betsy ross bridge its just that its all jammed here heading from woodhaven to cottman. It looks like a parking lot on i95 really does out there so what you can do one of your options is to stick to state road instead. I want to show you here on the waze app cause i have this pulled up, if youre traveling from bensalem to philadelphia and youre coming in thinking youre going to come on i95 its going to take you over an hour if you take state road and get on i95 near the tacony palmyra bridge where its not backed up anymore its a 34 minute ride. So, that will save you more than a half an hour if you take state road and get on i95 later. Thats your best bet because youre crawling along many people reporting about 4 miles an hour on i95 southbound. Its just a mess p also an accident bethlehem pike over here in lansdale that came up. A jury will here Opening Statements today in the capitol murder trial of eric frein charged in the ambush that killed a Pennsylvania State trooper and wounded another in 2014. During a hearing yesterday, the judge ruled that prosecutors can use the videotaped confession by frein in court much frein has pleaded not guilty.
