And on tom another means of transportation. Federal investigators are still in Delaware County at a septa yard trying to figure out what caused two trains to collide. Thats right, the investigation continues. In the meantime septa is saying that service this morning along this stretch should look pretty close to normal. At this point they are unable to use this loop here because as you can see, there are still crews at work trying to move the affected train cars from this stretch. But so right now this loop remains out of commission. However, theyre able to turn the trains around at the terminal. So hopefully service should look pretty close to normal. Morning rush was under way yesterday when it happened around 8 10 a. M. , a collision at 69th street terminal involving three sixcar trains. Seven cars derailed. When i got up here they said the train that i was going to be on was in an accident. Reporter federal investigators from the National Transportation safety board were called to the scene in upper darby last night. Septa crews are now working to remove the cars involved which weigh about 37 tons each. Septa Officials Say a moving train on number two loop collided with the rear of a stopped train. The stopped train had been waiting to approach the terminal. The force of the impact pushed the lead car of the moving train outward into the path of a third train on the next track. The operator of the striking train is most seriously injured. Its unclear why his train didnt stop. Septa says the accident is unrelated to issues of cracks recently found in dozens of cars on the market frankford line adding these cars were recently inspected. We will not allow a train to get on the line that is not safe. Reporter and back here live where septa crews continue their work, as far as injuries were concerned, two passengers and two septa operators were hurt yesterday. One operator remains in the hospital in critical condition. The rest were treated and released. Its unclear what those two passengers were still doing on the train. Also breaking this morning, fire tore through a home in Cape May County, new jersey, early this morning t an action news viewer captured video of these intense flames engulfing the home on the 100 block of reeves beach road in goshen middle township. Firefighters were called to the scene at 3 30 a. M. The fire caused the roof to collapse and spread to a nearby shed and two boats on the property. No word yet on any injuries or what sparked the blaze. And this is new, a second man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting of a Rutgers University student last year. The Essex County Prosecutors Office says franed ramirez was arrested yesterday in the Dominican Republic ramirez and marcus fell likes are accused of robbing and killing patel at his off campus a police say ramirez could be back in the United States as early as today. Police in Montgomery County released pictures of man they believe is burglarizing local stores by breaking through roofers. There were two other incidents in Montgomery County, this month where a burglar rappels through the roof to rob stores. Gloucester Township Police are investigating a possible abduction attempt. This happened on mayapple road monday night. A woman says man drove up to her got out to talk to her and then tried to pull her into his vehicle. The woman screamed and the suspect took off. Police say the man may have been driving a newer model white suv with black trim and a dash mounted navigation system. Police do not believe that attempted abduction is connected to the two kidnappings in New Castle County delaware. Police continue to search for that suspect. The crash happened on the 400 block of north sixth street last night. Police found the car still at the scene. The driver ran away on foot. Witnesses say the victim, a woman, flew on top of the hood and then the vehicle ran her over. She is hospitalized in serious condition. The Trump Administration is trying to quell fears about its expanded immigration policy saying the goal is not mass deportations. The sweeping reapplication of the law would broaden the pool of undocumented immigrants who are a priority for removal. It will now include anyone in the country illegally who is charged or convicted of any offense even minor infractions or even someone simply suspected of a crime. What they did was some sort of computer restart overnight and it didnt go well. The power didnt go back on so the computers are not working right now. They cant check in passengers through their computers. Theyre trying to do it manually. In the meantime on the flight board seeing several American Airlines flights with hour delays so if you have a ticket, if youre picking someone up, could be a recover morning for you. Multi vehicle accident. Breaking news in Chester County. This is the 30 bypass eastbound right now and past route 322 looks like im seeing four vehicles involved with this accident scene. You see some people out here. Theyre blocking the shoulder and part of the left lane. I dont see police on the scene with this. Just happened a couple minutes ago as we were scanning our hundreds of cameras found this one so just be careful as youre heading out. Traffic getting by in the right lane. 30 bypass multi vehicle accident eastbound past 322 and eastbound already jamming from approaching 340 to 322. So its a little damp out there. Doesnt look like theyre seeing emergency workers and suddenly youve got one lane blocked so be careful with that one. Lets take you over here to abington township, this is Montgomery County, an accident here with police and ambulance. Theyve been out here awhile on hamilton avenue at easton road. On the big picture were starting to see some slowing in spots. Schuylkill expressway westbound getting pretty its 16 Miles Per Hour approaching the boulevard to past belmont in some of the slowest spots. I95 southbound about 16 miles an hour near the betsy ross bridge. So, watch for that one. Tacony palmyra bridge is up right now. Its just starting to come back down after a bridge opening i had warned you about so traffic still stopped. You can stick to the betsy ross bridge instead. Police say they spotted 23yearold Brielle Marshall driving recklessly. Officers say they found her passed out behind the wheel, and woke her up. The reason behind all of this is because there was a scheduled power outage by the airport that was overnight. Now every other airline was able to get back onto their servers after that and scheduled power outage except for American Airlines. Because of that, theyre trying to resolve this i. T. Issue. You can see behind me the lines that are growing here. This is in the c terminal of the airport. Now, they are having issues, the delay as far as ticketing goes and checking and baggage because theyre having to do everything manually. Theyre still able to do it but its going to take time because theyre doing it manually. Any flight also headed to Philadelphia International airport on an American Airlines plane is not able to come in. They are not accepting anything coming American Airlines flights to Philadelphia International airport until theyre able to resolve this i. T. Issue. If you are at home and you did print out ard booing pass, if you have one of those boarding passes on your phone youre able to head right to security. Thats something that theyre trying to tell a lot of people to do so that they can help get some people on board on the planes so they can help smooth this along. As for an eta when this problem will be resolved at this hour they do not have one. American Airlines Says theyre working diligently to try to fix this problem. Again it was a scheduled outage overnight. Theyre the only airline right now affected at Philadelphia International airport. Also incoming American Airlines flights are also affected as well. This is at the betsy ross bridge so as youre trying to head towards center city you can see its now off to the shoulder with police on the scene but were jammed southbound on i95 from cottman to girard. So, a little wet in spots and a couple of accidents like this one on i95 so be careful. Mass transit regional rails Chestnut Hill west line weve got a train there thats 45 minutes late and one thats 54 minutes late so a couple really big delays with that, dave.
