So, as we take a look at satellite, we do have hermine still off the coast starting to push a little bit closer inland but not having the same impacts that it had over the last couple of days as the winds are no longer coming on shore from this storm. Its too far north for that and were seeing winds drop down if the north. Obviously as you take the closer look at satellite were starting outweigh a lot of sunshine away from the coast and even on the beach its possible that youll see some of that early. And then as we go through the day theres a little better chance of cloud cover over by the coast than there is elsewhere. 73 degrees is your current temperature in philadelphia. 72 in allentown, 74 in cape may, new jersey. Right lane is blocked and you can see the area of yellow, some slowing at the scene westbound on the pennsylvania turnpike and a lot happening on this day when more and more school buses coming back on the roads so take it easy and expect delays. Reporter good morning, tamala. Immediately following this shooting that off Duty Police Officer was taken to internal affairs for questioning. Two other people that were also in the home at the time of the shooting were taken to northeast detectives to be questioned as well. Well, take a look at this video. This is video from the scene from yesterday afternoon. It happened here in northeast philadelphia in a home in the 2700 block of taunton street. Now, 911 calls came in around 6 30 last night. Now, were told that the off Duty Police Officer fired at least one shot. He was not using an assigned weapon from the police department. He is assigned to the 15th district. Police at this time have not released his name. Now, Authorities Say the 19yearold shooting victim suffered at least one gunshot wound to the torso and is at aria torresdale hospital. Were told that that 19yearold victim is a family member. Very, very early stages of it but from what we have right now it started out as a verbal altercation. It led to a physical altercation so if you want to describe it as a struggle that would be accurate and during that period of time thats when the weapon discharged striking the other male involved one time in the torso area of the body. Reporter now, were not they would not elaborate on how they are related. Right now 19yearold shooting victim does remain at aria torresdale in critical but stable condition. Dewpoints down there at 58 so its not all that humid and not expecting to be humid today away from the ocean. There is farther areas farther south could be a little is it icky. Winds at 14. A nice breeze this morning. Latest track from the Hurricane Center does have the storm coming in closer to the coast and then pushing off to the north. This will continue that beach heavy surf and rip Current Issue today and probably tomorrow also a the storm still meanders off our coast. But we are not expecting Tropical Storm force winds and the winds are down out of the north because the storm is too far to the north. You can see how it has pushed to their north before it pushed in to us and that means the onshore flow such here farther up the coast but not here in new jersey and in delaware on our beaches. As we take a look at future tracker6 again if were going to see clouds today its probably over to the east of philadelphia in the city we should be mainly sunny and in fact thats the case across most of the region. Day planner today shows you the 70s for the morning, 82 by noon and then 87 degrees by 3 oclock with a high of 88 probably late in the day. So, pretty warm. Cool drinks still important today. Were hearing someone was entrapped briefly in one of the vehicles so police and emergency workers and they said also fire crews all leaded to the scene right now. Township line road is shut down at upper darby so yet another series accident scene coming in to us. Were over here in another serious accident and this is cinnaminson in Burlington County. It was a fatal accident and this has happened on riverton road at chatham court. Were looking right now and chopper6 was overhead here riverton road shut down at chatham court. We can see horrible accident. It was a single vehicle accident a pickup truck that slammed so hard into the tree you could see the damage to the tree and the pickup truck. They have the tow truck on the scene but theyve got to clean under debris with this accident scene before theyre able to reopen riverton road and police there reminding you in Burlington County its such a busy area riverton road a lot of people take that in Burlington County so watch for that one in cinnaminson.
