An unlawful scene to witness on the streets of West Kensington, a van driver walking back to his vehicle after dropping off Church Members is hit by another car. We have learned this is a fatal incident. Annie mccormick is live at temple hospital with the evolving details. Reporter good morning, tam, after the driver was hit and dragged several feet, members of his churn church group flagged down Police Officers in the hopes of saving his life. He was rushed to Temple University hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police say it was around 10 00 p. M. When the 57yearold victim had just dropped off his church group for a meeting. Based on witness accounts he was exiting the van on front street and opened the drivers side door, thats when the driver driving northbound struck the victim and caused the door to bend back in the other direction and dragged the victim 15 feet north on front street. Police only have a vague description of the vehicle. The description of the striking vehicle is a small to mid side vehicle dark in color, possibly two door, front end damage and has damage possibly to the passenger front tire. It may have left the scene with a flat. Reporter and police say the vehicle was seen heading north on front street. They are hoping that somebody saw something and help them out to solve the crime. They say they are going to go to several businesses in the area that they believe have Surveillance Footage of what happened.
