Storstorm tracker6 live doube scan showing were getting through the rain. Thats issue number one. As we go a little bit closer you can see the rain is clearing away from sea isle and Atlantic City. There are a couple little light sprinkles here or there, that little stuff around glassboro but thats nothing compared to what you see leaving us up around Seaside Heights and belmar. As we take a look outside, cloudy skies. The winds are picking up really shaking the camera down at the airport. Havent quite dried things out there yet, though so on the way in even though the rain has ended across much of the region you might still be looking at somewhat wet roads. 52 degrees in philadelphia. Thats the official number. We were up into the upper 50s not too long ago and you can see how were dipping down into the 40s in allentown reading lancaster and even trenton. Cooler air coming in during the morning commute and were going to spend the day mainly in the 40s. In fact the low to mid 40s probably for the most part. Theres also a lot of cloud cover out to the west but we are expecting some breaks in the clouds now that the rain is getting over to the east and we should wind up with the return of a decent amount of sunshine later on but up in the Lehigh Valley look for gusty winds and during the afternoon were probably only inching back up to about 42 degrees after falling below that this morning. Down the shore 44 is more or less what you can expect this afternoon. A fair amount of sunshine. Gusty winds a part of the package. And in philadelphia, afternoon high of 44 degrees. Keep in mind these numbers im governing are you what to prepare for later this afternoon. The official highs will all be in the 50s where we are right now in some spots and where we were a couple of hours ago in others. Sun will return. Gusty winds. Winds gusting between 35 and 45 Miles Per Hour. The higher gusts are in the morning behind that departing rain as a front comes through it will be a little bit less blustery later this afternoon but still pretty gusty. Then overnight tonight partly cloudy brisk and colder, 27 is your overnight low still a bit on the windy side. As we take a look at tomorrow looks like clouds increase. A chilly high of 39 degrees. Limited sun as clouds do build and at night there will be a little bit of light snow arriving. Future tracker six showing that to you. You can see that by 6 oclock were dry. Its merely more late at night, 11 00 to midnight where were expecting the light snow showers to begin. They continue into friday morning. Maybe eventually mixing with a little bit of rain in parts of the region but we are looking at at least a small accumulation. Theres one model that has about 3inches. Most of the rest in philadelphia averaging between a coating to an inch and i think anywhere from a coating up to an inch or two is probably fairly likely. Could mean slow going on friday morning for the commute though. Today windy and colder with temperatures dropping into the 40s and continuing to move on down to 27 for an overnight low. Brisk and chilly tomorrow, 39. And another 39 on friday with in light snow around in the morning and then in the afternoon we may actually see the return of some sun. Over the weekend, some improvement. 45 degrees. Daytime looks dry. Then on sunday another morning rain or snow shower around but drying in the afternoon with a high of 48. Hey, monday, how about 56. Tuesday 68 and by wednesday i could actually see us touching 70 on the thermometer in some spots. Wow. Like the warmest day yet this year. Probably. Have to go back and check butter i think so. I would expect youre going to be dealing with water on the roadway even though the rain pushing out of here because we got a good amount of it. But this is i95 at girard. Thats your southbound traffic headed towards center city and we could see still a 15 minute ride so the volume is building for sure but not a big delay kicking in just yet. Checking on the ben, the ben is looking good. Light volume westbound heading into the city. No speed restrictions on the ben so you dont have any issues out there even though the roads a little wet. I was talking to police in Montgomery County and they were telling me they were having a problem in horsham on blair mill road at easton with one of the storm drains. Theyre trying to clear it out. In the process of clearing at this point but in some spots you might see a lot of water if the drains are clogged. Blair mill road at when it mer we have an accident. Yeah, pretty much. As we take a look storm tracker6 already one reason to celebrate. The rain that we did have coming through for most of our morning broadcast this morning is now offer the coast and as we take a look outside were in the process of drying out. Now even though the roads are Getting Better and you can see that cloud cover breaking up a little bit, we are expecting the return of some sunshine. We are looking at blustery winds building across the region and that is going to be part of the package today with temperatures dropping a bit. Were still officially at 52 in philadelphia but its starting to feel a little colder out there and a lot of suburbs are beginning to dip down into the 40s. Thats where were going to wind up in philadelphia before much longer. Winds are starting to pick up too. 16 Miles Per Hour and well start to build those guests. Right now some of the northern and western suburbs like the Lehigh Valley out towards Lancaster Berks county youre starting to get those wind gusts between 30 and 40 Miles Per Hour and thats building in. Still looks kind of cloudy out to the west on satellite but these are high thin clouds and we expect them to break up. We should return a fair amount of sunshine during the day. Its going to be chilly. Possible were still down into the upper 30s in some spots between eight and 10 oclock. If we dont get that low, win is picking up and its still going to feel pretty chilly. In the afternoon were in the lower 40s probably getting up to a high of 43 and blustery winds throughout the day. These highs im post regular where i expect us to be around the earl to midafternoon hours. Wind a part of the package today. Winds gusting to 30 to 40 Miles Per Hour. In fact look out for trash cans and ive been having the last couple weeks recycling blow all over the neighborhood so some debris out there. Tomorrow clouding up during the day and then at night we get some light snow showers beginning to build in. These continue off and on overnight into friday morning and by the time all is said and done, most models suggesting a pretty light accumulation in philadelphia, perhaps under an inch. There is one, the gfs that has us all the way up to three. I would plan for somewhere in the half inch to inch or so accumulation but the tail end of it could be during the morning commute then means it could be slow go on friday morning and even a little bit of that stuff could cause trouble. Today temperatures falling into the 40s and continuing to go down into the 30s tonight and hitting 27 for an overnight low. Windy today, very blustery and colder than yesterday. Then brick and chilly on thursday a high of 39. 39 on friday with that Morning Light snow perhaps mixing with a little bit of rain and then drying in the afternoon and some improvement on saturday as we get up to 45 degrees. At night there could be another rain or snow shower. A morning snow shower cant be ruled out on sunday. It doesnt look that bad and then we transition to some sun, a high of 48 in the afternoon. Monday 56. And here we go, tuesday 68 degrees, partly sunny and warm. We could even hit 70 on some thermometers by wednesday. And that 68 would be the warmest day of the year so far.
