Still around the freezing mark in allentown and reading and the 40s down south in wildwood. And as we roll through the day in philadelphia well still be in the upper 30s by 9 oclock but looks like were just stuck in the low 40s starting about 11 oclock and going through the dinner hour and there will be that rain arriving during the morning and it pretty much stays with us all day. They say that the woman who was being questioned by security here was in the custody of security when she left her young child behind here in the store. Well, take a look at the video at this mug shot rather. This is 27yearold mahogany terry. According to police, macys security apprehended terry just after 6 00 p. M. Yesterday when they suspect they had she was shoplifting here at the macys in center city. Now, they estimate she stole about 1,400 in merchandise with her fouryearold daughter at her side. Now, when they handcuffed her in the Loss Prevention room, she managed to get out of her handcuffs and that is when she fled leaving that little girl behind in the store all by herself. Well, back out here live Philadelphia Police department was notified, so was the department of human services. That little girl, though, we can tell you now is with other relatives. Now, she was taken the suspect was taken into custody, like we said, late last night. She faces theft and related charges. Also new this morning, a fast moving fire damaged two homes in the citys Port Richmond neighborhood overnight. A blaze broke out just before midnight along the 2200 block of tioga street. The house was vacant but the neighboring house was occupied. Fire crews tell us the vacant home had a partial collapse in the rear of the structure. Fortunately no one was hurt. No word yet on what started the fire. It is 6 05 now and new this morning, police in upper darby release Surveillance Video hoping to track down a burglary suspect. Three businesses at the Drexel Line Shopping Center on state road were broken into early yesterday morning. If we take a closer view you can see that dover itself is just on the cusp and smyrna not too far away as some of this is beginning to wrap up towards middletown out of the southwest as well. Were looking at this rain to overtake philadelphia in all likelihood before the end of the morning commute. As we take a look outside we have cloudy skies on the platt bridge ahead of the arriving precipitation. By 7 oclock it looks like the rain is dying down even more and by 11 oclock tonight this first sound pretty much over as a warm front gets past us. Up in the Lehigh Valley were going for a high of 39 degrees today, a little wet snow at the outset changing over to rain especially up into Northampton County and then at the shore were going for a high of 42, cloudy skies, just rain down the shore but off and on rain through most of the day. Pennsylvania state Police Investigating a deadly hit and run in Lehigh County. Chopper six was over the scene here in upper milford township. Police say a person was hit and killed at saint peters road and sweet wood drive around 1 oclock this morning. The driver left the scene and police are searching for an earl. 90s Jeep Cherokee that may be involved. On to other breaking news in new jersey, a fast moving fire damaged a home in Camden County. Police in gloucester township snapped these pictures of the flames. The fire broke out on the 500 block of hollywood drive about an hour ago. Right now fire crews are on the scene getting the hot spots out. So far no word on injuries. Developing now, action news has learned the coroner is on the scene of a shooting in Atlantic City. One person was rushed to the hospital from the 1100 block of north ohio avenue just before 2 00 a. M. The citys Major Crimes Unit was called to the scene in addition to the coroner. As you can see hes wearing jeans a dark coat a baseball hat and hes carrying what looks like a blue bag over his Left Shoulder. He also appears to have some facial hair. This is the mangled aftermath of a police chase in wilmington, delaware. The people in the car fled a traffic stop at concorde avenue and Market Street at 10 00 last night. The driver then crashed into a tree and at least two parked cars while going the wrong way down a oneway street. Police arrested two people in the car. A third person got away. No Police Officers were hurt. Republican voters in nevada will caucus today. Polls suggest donald trump will win again on the heels of his nine South Carolina last weekend.
