Allall right storm track sick life double scan right now and we are looking at rain but most of it is down to the south. Spotty showers centered mainly in Cape May County new jersey right around dover delaware and that stuff coming in from the west from baltimore appears to be falling apart a bit so this is light nuisance rain centered mainly south of i95 from about the delaware state line. As we take a look outside, we have clouds out there, a little bit of bouncing on the camera down the shore and elsewhere across the region as it is a little bit on the breezy side and certainly cooler than it was yesterday. 44 degrees is your current temperature in philadelphia, 44 in allentown, 44 in wilmington, 43 in trenton and only 42 at the boardwalk in Sea Isle City and in Atlantic City obviously its cooler morning than it was yesterday. In fact, weve got a 24hour change that exhibits that rather well. Were actually 16 degrees cooler right now than we were this time yesterday morning and even the afternoon is going to stay much cooler. Heres what it looks like the rest of the way on future tracker six. For the morning, just a couple of sprinkles and showers mainly to the south. Then after the rush hour by 10 00 or 10 30 well be on the lookout for a line of precipitation sitting out on the other side of State College right now to start to come in and get the majority of the region wet. Now these will again be kind of spotty showers that wont have a major impact but your roads will get wet and so will you as they come through. Then later this afternoon were back to just cloudy skies, a little drizzle, a couple can of very spotty showers. That pattern continues straight through the rush hour so i dont expect there to be big problems for the evening rush and it looks like most of the rest of the evening is also dry with some spotty showers. So, if youre headed to the phillies game later tonight theyll get it in but you want to dress warmly and prepare for the possibility of a little quick hitting shower. Cloudy and damp in allentown with a high of 44 today. Down the shore were going to go for mainly cloudy skies breezy a spotty shower possible and a high of 46 right next to that cool ocean water. And not much different in philadelphia with a high of 47 cloudy, breezy, spotty showers, winds out of the northeast at 12 to 25 Miles Per Hour. So a bit breezy. And temperatures, well, theyre not really going to change much today. 43 by 6 oclock only 46 by 2 oclock and then that 47degree high popping up probably at about 3 oclock this afternoon. Tomorrow more of the same. Cloudy skies, cool damp, some occasional showers popping through. Theres tomorrows 10 30 in the morning view and then we get into the afternoon and theres a little chance of a more steady rain building in especially from about philadelphia north through a portion of the afternoon but then in the evening it looks like were back to just the spotty drizzle. And overall over the next two days only about a half inch of rain each day. These are the two day totals so this is not a big rain event neither today nor tomorrow. Your exclusive accuweather 7day, 47 degrees is todays high chilly and damp. Pretty much more of the same tomorrow. Cloudy and damp with a high of 49. Then finally friday we bust back into the warm sector of that front with a front going past us to the north. Well get a high of 73 but a cold front sweeping in from the west will give us the chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Looks like all thats over in time for the weekend. Breezy and cooler on saturday, a nice high of 63, though for the union and phillies and 67 on sunday. Thats going to be a real nice day and monday might be one of those days you want to develop a cold cause 70 and sunny. It looks nice. Well see thousand works. Thanks, david. 6 11 now. Southbound traffic headed towards center city and you can see youre pretty heavy at this point at cottman and again from allegheny to girard. But a 19 minute ride, thats nothing. It will be double that before you know it so looking okay from woodhaven to the vine just that heavier traffic. On the big picture we see some of those slower speeds. 40s for the most part on the schuylkill. We had an asked that cleared in lower merion. Things looking better on mill creek road and traffic not causing a problem right there. A new issue here though, weve got a disabled vehicle its on i95 at the walt whitman bridge. So watch for that one. Its after the shoulder so shouldnt be causing too many problems and also dont forget in south philadelphia lots of congestion tonight. Youve got the phils at 7 05 and the sixers at 7 00 so you might want to take those sports express trains to avoid any problems there. We talked about the tacony palmyra bridge. Traffic was stopped for a opening. It was a northbound trip. Now we expect an opening with the burlington bristol bridge sometime before seven ooh. Turnpike connector bridge will help you around that. We tweet all the traffic with the hashtag 6abc traffic. A good idea to figure out whats going on. Flooding has closed down roads that will remain blocked off for the morning commute. Well see that system later this week, parts of it. Parts of it yeah. We are for now looking at Cool Conditions though, behind yesterdays warmup. As we take a look at Storm Tracker six live double scan theres a bit of shower activity out there. Most of this centered south of philadelphia. Little bit of a sprinkle south of wilmington and around dover. Stuff by baltimore and gettysburg appears to be falling apart. The main batch pushing through Atlantic City and also moving off the coast. Overall this is what youre looking at today, cloudy skies and occasionally little spitting showers coming through. As we take a look outside we have cloudy skies over the airport. Looks like its dry on the air field itself though, as its been awhile since weve seen any of that rain. Cooler this morning. 44 degrees in philadelphia. Winds eastnortheast at 12 Miles Per Hour so we are looking at a chilly one out there and as we take a look at future tracker six it does look like its going to stay on the cool side today. And a little bit damp. There is a line of showers pushing east of pittsburgh right now and future tracker by 10 30 has these coming in through the western suburbs could even be in places like reading and lancaster as early as 10 oclock and then that sweeps through and the rest of the afternoon right on up to 3 oclock really looks like its just cloudy, breezy owe breezy, cool ann little damp with and occasional drizzle an spotty shower. More of the same for the evening commute. Theres the 6 oclock view and more of the same as we go through the evening hours right on up to 11 oclock. The temperatures today arent changing all that much. 43 degrees by 8 oclock. By 11 oclock, 44 degrees and then 46 degrees by 2 oclock. 47 degrees is your forecast high this afternoon. And so staying in the 40s and staying rather uncomfortable. 47 degrees in philadelphia. 47 in wilmington. 44 is your high in allentown. 47 in Cape May County. Everybody beneath the clouds dealing with that cool breeze coming down out of the northeast an spotty shower cant be ruled out at times. For the phillies tonight theyll get the game in but i would dress warmly and maybe bring a little watery assistant poncho or hood. 43 degrees at the first pitch 42 in the ninth inning. There is the chance of a spotty shower or a sprinkle during the game but i think your Biggest Issue is that temperature. Youll wants to make sure youre dressed appropriately for that. Then on thursday were still cool because that frontal boundary has that has settled to our south today it stays down to the south tomorrow and that means another day in the 50s and were also looking at another day where there could at times be a sprinkle or shower popping through. The morning looks mainly dry with just a couple showers around. After about two or 3 oclock the northern suburbs could get into the a two or threehour period where its rather damp and then tomorrow evening were back to just that spotty precipitation again and hopeful that bodes well for tomorrow nights phillies game. 47 is todays high chilly and damp. 49 tomorrow, another chilly and occasionally damp day. Then warmer on friday with a high of 73. A cold front comes through in the evening though, and ahead of it in the afternoon and evening we are looking at the possibility of a shower or a thunderstorm. Again, that is late friday and friday evening. Then thats gone for the weekend and on saturday were breezy and sunny a high around 63 degrees. Decent weather for both the union and phillies and sunny and nice on sunday as the phillies end their first home stand. Thats going to be a nice afternoon foreign baseball with a high of 67. Not too bad at least the northbound side of i95 and you can kind of see the traffic on the roadway right here. Its pretty dry. Were drying out on most of your majors. But this is your southbound traffic and thats what heavy. Looking live at allegheny weve got about a 32 minute ride southbound from woodhaven to the vine so pretty heavy out there as you head towards center city and slowing you down. Lets look at the big picture right here. You see those speeds at the worst of times 13 miles an hour on i95 southbound. The schuylkill about the same, 13 miles an hour westbound from the boulevard to past belmont, about 33 miles an hour eastbound near girard. Weve got a new problem in north philadelphia. Its a fire at a highrise here. So look for it on 11th street near york street. Youre going to see some emergency crews out there. And if yeah in that area stick to ninth or 13th to avoid the problem. We have the phils playing tonight at 7 05, sixers at 7 00 lots of congestion in south philadelphia later on so you might want to take the sports express trains instead. Disabled vehicle on 95 near the walt whitman bridge. Its off to the shoulder.
