Starting this morning, Philadelphia Police are investigating a policeinvolved shooting. Officers were called to a shooting last night at 17th and cayuga streets in tioganicetown. They found a shooting victim in a minivan riddled with bullets. The gunman got away and then another man jumps out of the back of the minivan. After exiting the minivan the male literally stepped over the initial shooting victim and then began to walk quickly north on 17th street. Police say he pointed a gun at officers and an officer opened fire but investigators arent sure if the man that they shot the second man was actually hit by police or had actually been shot in that minivan since it took earlier gunfire. The original shooting victim and this suspect are both in stable condition this morning. A teacher is on leave from william tenet high school in bucks county this morning. No arrests have been made. Happening right now, Italys Supreme Court is deciding whether or not its going to uphold the murder conviction of american amanda knox. Knox was convicted in the 2007 killing of her british roommate meredith kercher. The fate of knocks former boyfriend will also be decided by this court. Lets begin with breaking news from the Lehigh Valley. A multi alarm fire is tearing through a business in the city of bethlehem. It is happening at the fabricators on mock chunk road. Firefighters are urging people in that area to stay inside their homes due to heavy smoke. Crews say the building seemed to be empty when it started. It is now at three alarms. Theyve also set up a shelter at the nearby buchanan elementary school. Chopper 6 hd is headed to the scene. Stay with action news for updates. Developing right now a multi car crash killed two people and injured at least two more in the Lehigh Valley overnight. Take a look at new video thats come in from the scene. The cars collided on southbound route 33 in Palmer TownshipNorthampton County late last night. Two people were ejected from one car and killed. Police shut down the roadway for hours investigating exactly what happened. Officials have not released the identities of the victims. Happening today, former tv sportscaster Don Tollefson scheduled to be sentenced for fraud. A bucks county injury found him guilty of selling woke gus sports packages they claimed would help charities. Tollefson faces up to 30 years in prison. His attorney is expected to argue against jail time citing tollefsons philanthropy and arguing by putting the 62yearold behind bars would doolittle good. Philadelphia police opened fire on a man. Neighbors say they argued constantly. In factor they say they heard a woman screaming on sunday night, then over the next couple days things got unusually quiet. From what i understand for like a couple days he was trying to find like a shovel, you know, he was asking people to borrow their solves and stuff like that. And im like why . Theres no snow out here anymore. Homicide investigators questioned the man. No charges have been filed yet. We are following a developing story at the big board here at 6 34. Crews will continue the painstaking search for bodies and debris at the site of yesterdays airbus crash. They are strewn about a french alps mountainside where the german jetliner went down killing all 150 people on board. Officials say the plane on impact was completely pulverized. We learned overnight that the black box voice recorder found at the scene was damaged. The exact cause of the crash is unknown but air experts say there are parallels to another incident involving a lufthansa airbus just four months ago. That plane went into a deep dive when key sensors iced up and started spitting out false data. Those pilots eventually regained control. No distress call came in yesterday so its difficult to determine why the plane went down. And this is new this morning, a Gloucester CountySchool District has been the victim of a cyber attack. The Swedesboro WoolwichSchool District says it was attacked over the weekend by Malicious Software also known as ransom wear. Often it will freeze up your computer and youve got to pay to get out of it. The attack happened as they were trying to do testing at the schools. The district says it has taken steps to contain the infection and begin the process of cleansing and rebuilding. New jersey state police, the fbi and Homeland Security are all investigating. Montgomery county family still needs to survey the damage today left behind by an out of control school bus. The action cam was along windermere drive in blue bell yesterday when a tow truck pulled the bus out of the home. Authorities believe the driver might have blacked out at the time of the crash. He was taken to the hospital. Nine students who were on board were not hurt. Neither was the family inside the house. Police plan to review video from a dash cam that was installed on the bus. Youve got the left lane and this accident off to the right so kind of police in two different spots here with this accident scene. Look at the backup already on route 1. So, thats a new one thats creating problems right now. We also have this issue here in horsham. Horsham road near maple avenue. This just coming in right now. Report of an accident involving a pedestrian. So, watch for that one just coming in to us currently in horsham. Another accident here in rockledge montgomery county, Huntingdon Pike at robbins avenue so look for that one as well. On the big picture looking at some slow speeds i95 now 12 miles an hour southbound near girard. The schuylkill youre going about 21 miles an hour past the boulevard to past belmont. That earlier accident we talked about on the boulevard at c street has cleared. I want to go live to the schuylkill right now cause were seeing a big backup here on the schuylkill expressway. This is at city avenue. This is your westbound traffic jammed approaching city avenue to gladwyne. No accidents on the schuylkill. We can kind of see the road surface here. Developing overnight we are learning more this morning about two separate deadly confrontations, each one of them has led to the death of a Police Officer. The latest incident gunfire killed veteran officer Michael Johnson in san jose california. Johnson was approaching an apartment with other officers last night when someone started shooting. Authorities have identified the suspect as scott dunham. They believe hes still may be holed up in his apartment. In wisconsin a state trooper was killed during a shootout with a robbery suspect. That suspect also died. The exchange of gunfire happened during a Police Pursuit shortly after the suspect held up a bank. The name of the trooper has not yet been released. New this morning, a frantic search is under way for a california woman who was kidnapped and as far as anyone knows is being held for ransom. Denise huskins boyfriend reported she was abducted early monday morning from his home but 30yearold aaron quinn the boyfriend didnt call police until about 2 00 that afternoon. It is not clear why quinn took so long to alert authorities but they say he is not a person of inter. The car had been taken from huskins s home. It was found at an undisclosed location. The vehicle is registered to quinn. Police did not disclose the amount of ransom being sought. A circus act was put to the test on the side of a louisiana road. Two elephants saved a tractortrailer from tumbling into a ditch. The driver had pulled over and became stuck so handlers had the pachyderms push up against the big rig.
