Breaking overnight a hitandrun driver barrels through a crime scene striking striking nearly Striking Police officers and leaving damage in their wake. Detectives believe this was intentional. Katherine scott is live where this happened at east erie avenue and istreet in juniata park. Reporter there were no injuries, but police say several officers were nearly hit by a car. They were not hit, but several Police Bicycles were. Police believe it was intentional. Erie by istreet in juniata park is opened back up. This is where it happened. It was closed for two hours for the police investigation. Lets go to video. The driver missed the officers but mowed down police bikes this morning. This happened around 2 30 a. M. Police were on the the scene making two arrests for a separate matter a carjacking. They had stopped a chrysler at the intersection and made the arrest and recovered a gun. The officers were rounded around the chrysler when a speeding black nissan possibly an ultima came barreling toward them. They believe it was going at least 60 miles per hour. The officers jumped out of the way, but the driver slammed into three parked Police Bicycles driving right over them. It drove between the chrysler and marked Police Vehicle that had their lights on and Police Believe this was intentional. The driver sped away. The vehicle may have marks on it recent scratch marks or dents because it did strike at least three Police Bicycles throwing some of them causing some of the officers to jump out of the way and narrowly missing injury. Reporter and so far police have not been able to track down the driver. They are trying to get a more detailed description of the vehicle. Right now they think it is black nissan possibly an ultima with tinted windows, if you have any tips police want to hear from you. The 26yearold victim and two witnesses were standing at the corner of d and allegheny streets in kensington. Police say the gunman walked up to them. He shot the victim in the forehead and fled the scene. The man and other woman were not hurt. A massive fire at the shore this weekend has destroyed two homes in cape may county. You can see the flames and thick black smoke pouring from the homes on the 7100 block of park boulevard in wildwood crest. The fire was so jumped from one house to the other. I heard an explosion there was flames and fire coming out of the side of the house. It was a huge explosion. The neighbor said the owner lives at the shore full time and was at the beach. Authorities are focused on the area between two of the three impacted homes. 4 36 a. M. , 5 36 a. M. , fire damaged three row homes in chester, delaware county. The flames were contained to one house on the 1,000 block of harrison street. The homes on either side have smoke and water damage. Nobody was hurt. The victims are getting help from the red cross.
