I want to give you an update on problems in montgomery county. In traffic this morning we had a disabled vehicle southbound northeast extension. That cleared. We had an accident here on the off ramp to Germantown Pike from the blue route that has cleared and fayette street at 11th avenue we still have a disabled vehicle here so two out of three problems right there have cleared. Also cleared this accident in cheltenham. Doing pretty good so far with that accident. It brought down a pole and wires but they were able to fix that. Thats looking better right now on willow avenue. This construction project started yesterday. Much needed. Theyre redoing the road surface there. This is township line road between far wood and haverford road. It started yesterday from 9 00 until 3 00. They block one of two lanes in both directions. A much needed problem that causes big delays. Look for that to be a problem later on. The blue route at macdade boulevard penndot moving the camera around much roads are clear and dry. This is a newly released photo showing people, passengers in fact, tackling this passenger as he tried to run towards the cockpit. The pilot returned the plane to Dulles International airport near washington, d. C. The flight had just taken off for denver when the disturbance happened. The passengers undergoing a mental evaluation. And this is new on action news. The search continues for the shooters who gunned down a 19yearold man in west philadelphia. The action cam found police blocking off the scene on the 6000 block of irving street last night. The victim was shot twice in the head and died at the hospital shortly after 10 00 p. M. Police are looking for two men. The motive for the killing is unclear. This is also new a former Allentown Police officer is charged with using Excessive Force on two suspects. 28yearold ryan owls of quakertown now faces aggravated assault. The Lehigh CountyDistrict Attorney says he repeatedly used a taser on a man last year then kicked him in the eye the head and ribs. Several months later colleagues say they saw ales punch a suspect so hard the man needed staples to close the wound. Allentown police fired ales from the force on friday. He will appear in court later this month. A 14yearold girl is accused of health her 20yearold boyfriend cover up a murder in the Lehigh Valley and this wasnt just any murder. The victim was the girls own mother. 54yearold Cheryl Silvonek was stabbed in the neck and buried in a shallow grade. A passerby called the police who then found the body. Berman who you see there was found murdered execution style in los angeles in 2,000 months after an investigation into his wifes dieses appearance was reopened. Then a year later his texas neighbor was killed and dismembered. In that case durst claimed self dense was acquitted. During the afternoon we have a chance of seeing a reemergence of sunshine. However the winds will do a number on us and change the temperatures. In the morning, were looking at winds staying fairly light and notice how theyre coming up out of the mild south. But watch what happens when we get to about midday. The winds have started to turn out of the west and a little out of the northwest and theyve gotten very blustery. These are our wind gusts being forecaster by future tracker 6, up close to 30 Miles Per Hour. Then we get later into the afternoon and the winds continue to go very strong and now theyre coming down out of the cool northwest and thats going to draw cooler air in as we go through the afternoon. So, as we look at the temperature profile today. Kind of a weird one. 44 degrees by 8 oclock. 61 by 11 oclock and that high of 62 is probably around midday right around noon. Then after that, those winds really start charging down out of the northwest. We drop to 59 by 2 oclock and by 5 oclock all the way down to 52 so it is a day when things will be getting chillier. As you look at todays high temperatures, theyre all around midday, 53 in allentown, 54 in reading, 62 in philadelphia, 63 in wilmington, 62 in cape may and those numbers all dropping on that northwest wind in the afternoon. Then tomorrow that cool air that starts to come in today really settles in. A high of 43 but winds gusting as high as 40 Miles Per Hour tomorrow t it will be sunny but well have wind chills making it feel like its in the 30s.
