The worst of it will be during high tide and that is beginning to taper off right about now along the ocean front. It will take a little longer up and down the delaware bay and notice how the top of the bay and the river included in this. Still moderate tidal flooding possible as we go through the next couple of hours. Up in the poconos were still looking at some mixed precipitation today and i had a hunch they were going to extend this and they have up until 6 oclock tonight. Now they allowed eastbound traffic to get by but westbound that means you cant go towards 295 in new jersey. Its all shut down at cropwell road so thats a big problem. You can take marlton pike. Another big headache weve got another day of this Delaware River turnpike bridge and this problem is going to continue and the turnpike connector closed in both directions. Policeare saying carpool do whatever you can take alternate routes. Heres what you can do. Take route one, i95, burlington bristol, tacony palmyra, all instead of at the turnpike bridge connector. This noreaster yesterday brought downpours high winds and flooding and some drivers navigated around flood waters, in other cases roads were closed. First responders though were ready to go. They were prepared for this. Some were urging residents to keep an eye out for the flooding that were seeing again this morning to remain vigilant. Look at them all trying to fix the pole that was brought down here. So, a lot of people out there right now trying to deal with that. For awhile it was eastbound and westbound that was shut down here at cropwell road. Westbound they had all this utility workers trying to deal with this downed pole not fixed yet. Also Delaware River turnpike bridge this is a big deal that its closed here. So the turnpike connector closed in both directions. Youre going have to stick to route one, 95, burlington bristol, tacony palmyra and of course they were all jammed yesterday with more people taking that here instead of the turnpike connector so that continues to be a problem. If youre down in south jersey, you want to be careful as this coastal floo closures with flooding being an issue. Youll be dealing with that in new jersey and delaware. And if youre heading up north youve got to watch that youre not dealing with slick roads. Brenda tompkins says she and her and husband christopher woke up to an intruder in their house early sunday morning. She says her husband grabbed a gun and s thatstairs when he fie the intruder. Police say two officers who responded to the securityt off t the shots were fired at them so theyrned fire killing tompkins. They came in,. Police later arrested the intruder on a criminal trespass charge. The officers are on administrative leave. The police and District Attorney are conducting separate investigations. Also new this morning, the a baltimore mother says a School Dental program removed a number of her sons teeth without her knowing or giving permission. She said her son had three teeth extracted at his Elementary School last week.
