Reporter good morning, tam, actually members of the church group flagged down 26th District Police officers who called for the ambulance, they say the driver was unconscious at the scene. They rushed him to Temple University hospital where he was pronounced dead about two hours later. This was the scene video from chopper 6 hd over the scene at front and diamond. Police say it was around 10 00 p. M. When the 57yearold victim dropped off his church group for a meeting. Based on on witness accounts he was exiting the van on front street and opened the drivers side door, when the car struck the victim and bent the door back in the other direction and dragged the victim 15 feet north on front street.
