Police believe that man was under the influence when he hit an offduty Police Officer who was on his motorcycle and fled the scene. Fortunately we had a couple of witnesses one being a tow truck driver who followed the vehicle helped out big time and for meed the car and blocked the car in and called the police and police got there and arrested him for leaving the scene of the accident. Witnesses helped track down a driver who fled after hitting a Police Officer on his motorcycle. Lamar poole was assigned to the 12th district. He was a husband and father. After the crash, police say the other driver got 0 out of his car to see what happened and took off. A tow truck driver followed the toyota and called police.
