Well, today a focus on a first look at President Trumps income tax returns or at least one year of them. The white house says that the 2005 returns are accurate but they were illegally obtained and that he made nearly 153 million and paid 38 million in federal taxes a 25 tax rate and declared 103 million worth of losses in that year 2005. A journalist named david k. Johnson says he received the summary in the mail anonymously. Everyone that is prosperous, is on the alternative tax, if that tax didnt exist, he would have pay aid tax rate lower than the average paid by the poorest half of america. Now President Trump tweeted, does anyone believe that a reporter that no one ever heard of went to his mailbox and found my tax returns and goes on to call it fake news. And meanwhile on to President Trumps claims that former president obama wired trump tower. Today leaders say they have seen no evidence of that claim and the Justice Department is investigating on this topic and fbi director, james comey and the head of the National Security agency will testify on march 20th. Philadelphias sugary beverage match is again at the controversial and confusing price hike now a change impacting College Students at temple university. John rawlins is live at the campus to explain what is going on and why. Some confusion, it seems to be saying it will go back to the drawing room to examine a meal plan hike it passed yesterday. That mayor kenney raised valid concerns with the accuracy of numbers on the soda tax on students that use a meal plan. Next august, when temple dorms fill up for the 20172018 School Year Students will face higher room and board. 136 of the hike will be the result of the beverage hike. Current students that use a temple meal plan surprised by at announcement and not particularly pleased. To raise the price because of the fact of the sweetened beverage tax, that is scary, what else will i do . Ill go to fresh grocery. I wont get the meal plan, i get the lowest one already, but the price increase is not going. Its unfortunate. Well, maybe that hike wont hold we dont know temple saying they will reexamine the meal plan factors and see if they cant lower the numbers there and harsh words from city hall, saying that temple is using the beverage tax as anscapegoat and far more conciliatory words after commending them for this move.
