She was driving in roxborough when a tree fell on to her car and trapped her inside. This was the scene sunday morning on the 1700 block of henry avenue. Neighbors heard the crash and quickly called for help. Walter perez is live at the scene and talked to the woman exclusively today. She is eturnly grateful she is okay. Helen quigley was driving home from church and driving along henry avenue and noticed a huge tree swaying with the wind. All of a sudden i thought i better hit the brake and the tree was on top of me. In fact that huge tree crushed a parked vehicle before buckling the roof of her car she was pin with the roof pinning her head. She was terrified but found comfortable in a prayer. I prayed to my Guardian Angel,dy that since i was a kid. Her Guardian Angel arrived in the form of an offduty police officer. Who witnessed the whole thing, he ran over and offered help and comfort. He held my hand and called 911. Helen had to be extracted by firefighters and after being released from the hospital she has only bumps and bruises.
