It is time now for a check of the accuweather forecast. Speaking of the skies we led over to meteorologist adam joseph who says things look pretty good right now except for an occasional spotty shower. There is only one in the entire area, its right along the shore but not in Atlantic City as we look live right now at sky6 in Atlantic City. That sun is shining at the present time but you can see those towering cumulus clouds building there in the background as were looking southbound and in fact as we head to the south of Atlantic City towards strathmere and Sea Isle City you can see the flareup of red here, the heaviest part of the storm as we go to street level here is 33rd street just north of Sea Isle City boulevard as you come in off of the garden state parkway, you hit the promenade pouring at the present time no lightning and also extends with just some light showers on east williams road. That is where the lifeguard headquarters are there up in strathmere, the beach patrol but this is slowly drifting off to the coast. No lightning but many folks headed indoors because of very torrential rain in a very localized area. 86 in Atlantic City, 81 in beach haven on the verge of 90 degrees for philadelphia right now and upper 80s from red to go allentown as we look at satellite and radar you can see down to the south a lot of these scattered showers and thunderstorms to be cooking up here in the summer afternoon hours and up to the north and west is a very strong cold front coming into the Northern Plains with severe storms between wichita and omaha. But for us tonight again outside of that very spotty shower around that there shore communities, it is clear, it is humid, 65 allentown, 72 philadelphia, 70 in dover and lower 70s along the shore. Now, its going remain very humid as we go into the weekend. In facts it spikes on sunday to very high levels but notice the dropoff big time here in the dewpoints come monday. It basically bottoms out into the 40s for monday and tuesday. That is extremely dry air and something we are going to definitely notice here to start the new work week. But for tomorrow on your saturday at the shore, 82 degrees, sun and clouds and humid in the city 90 again hot and humid, it is dry and in the poconos 81 degrees under partly sunny skies. Then as we get into the second half of the weekend it turns very active zone. By 3 00, 3 30, you can see the line of downpours and thunderstorms developing from the west. That is the strong front that drops there humidity and it could bring some gusty to severe storms as we go he into sunday afternoon and sunday evening. That four day at 4 00 forecast will indicate were at 90 again sun and clouds for your saturday. On sunday, 88 degrees and terribly humid around here. Those dewpoints could go well into the middle 70s for inland locations with strong afternoon storms and then monday, sun and clouds 82 degrees with basically no humidity in the atmosphere and the same for tuesday, only 81 degrees, so big changes are coming and the first almost kind of signs of fall feeling in the air.
