Lets head to meteorologist adam joseph at the big board. Too many of us will be looking as we go into the upcoming weekend. It stays rather unsettled and cloudy overall. Temperaturewise only in the 70s right now in philadelphia with that cloud cover but it is very muggy out there so its not a very comfortable 74 degrees. All the 80s have been pushed to the south and west ahead of the next frontal boundary and also where you see a little more in the way of sunshine. As we look at storm tracker6 live double scan not a lot going on right now. A few scattered showers to the north of philadelphia, cluster moving into maryland and a few near state college. There will be some scattered showers to pass through early this evening in a few locations but as we widen out we have moisture down to the south and we have low pressure up in the Northern Plains near minneapolis. This low will continue to move to the east and pull in very humid air and also it will bring some very unsettled weather especially on sunday. But tomorrow clouds overall still win out. Youll see some peeks of sun around be maybe even a spotty shower at times in the afternoon but with some of the brightening to the sky up to 84 degrees and then on sunday it is tropically muhammad and well be watching for humid and well be watching for strong storms in the afternoon and evening and temperatures a little cooler at 81 because of that increased cloud cover and chance for storms. In fact the Storm Prediction Center has placed philadelphia down to the south in an enhanced zone for Severe Weather. And finally it has the makings of a movie script and it starts with a man finding a message in a bottle on an uninhabited island in the British West Indies a message that was penned by a man from philadelphia. This is Clint Buffington he runs a blog called message in a bottle hunter. Appropriate. He says back on may 17th he found this message and inn a gatorade bottle and a year and a day after a man named ray here in philly wrote it. But wait. How does he even know that. The paper p is completely blank. What is he seeing on here, right . Well, buffering ton somehow deciphered this nearly invisible i mean completely invisible writing somehow. This is his job. Hes the message in a bottle hunter. So, ray from philly was on a carnival cruise. He left a number buffington called, no answer. So, ray, if youre watching, your message in a bottle has been received although i have to tell you clint does say the number was a little fuzzy so hes pretty sure he got it right. But as you can see, there was kind of nothing there. So, he wasnt working with a lot. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Good man. I need to know more about what it says. Yeah, lets hope we get some more information from this. Ray, give us a call. Ray from fill i like that. Alicia thank i was. Lets get another check of the roads right now. Matt standing by with the update on a friday. I would like to find a jean flee in a bottle and one of my three wishes you get three wishes. Well then my wish was going to be easier friday afternoons on the roadways because it is really tough sometimes to get home on a friday and thats the case this afternoon especially if youre taking the eastbound side of the pennsylvania turnpike. It is a crawl. Barely moving between willow grove and bensalem. Thats because on the off ramp from the eastbound side to bensalem a truck flipped over a couple hours ago so just one of the two lanes is getting by. Sounds like theyre trying to get it pushed off to the side. Then theyre going to come back this evening probably around 7 30 and remove it and at that time were hearing rumblings there they may close the main lanes of the turnpike later on this evening around 7 30 so stay tuned on that. For now its just a colossal jam. Stick with street road or county line as alternates. Camera time in University City and its friday afternoon on the schuylkill so of course its busy by south street in both directions. In chester county, a couple of accidents to watch out for. Ones in upper oxford along baltimore pike. Another along state road at avondale road. A crash in hainesport Burlington County this afternoon along creek road at marne highway. Still remnants of that gas leak over here in cherry hill along 70 eastbound at Cooper Landing road. One of the left turn lanes is blocked but otherwise things are reopened so progress there. Progress with this crash on 295 southbound past 42. Its off to the side but still a lot of speeds in the teens and 73 is closed in winslow township because of a crash. Stick with 30 to get around that. Well check it again, brian and sharrie, in the 5 oclock hour. All right, thank you my friend. Meteorologist adam joseph is coming up with that exclusive accuweather 7day forecast. All right. Its friday. Time to celebrate the arrival of the weekend even if its not the best weekend. No, i mean, its not going to be a washout but sunday you want to be on an alert for strong to severe storms coming in in the afternoon. This cluster is moving down to the south so overall for your friday evening it will be dry in most locations. It is muggy out there with temperatures in the 70s for every place inland right along the shore were in the 60s. The poconos a big race weekend up there nascar started today, 65 degrees. The best day will be tomorrow before rain comes in again in the poconos as well on sunday. Satellite and radar will show we have this little boundary passing through with a lot of clouds. Then we look to the west theres moisture streaming in from the gulf of mexico and the northern part of the plains.
