Penndot spinning the camera around but the emergency crews are just north of this point at girard avenue blocking the two left lanes. This is already created massive delays coming out of center city. Really they start down in south philadelphia just off the girard point bridge and then youre moving at this pace which is not a very quick one the whole way up to this point just north of girard avenue. Everybody is being funneled down into that right lane. It really is causing a mess. Those delays spilling back onto other roadways like the vine street expressway which is a parking lot across town. The vine delays are spilling back onto the schuylkill which is making it tough for people trying to get to the pearl jam concert or the phils game tonight. A lot of people would be out and about anyway and these emergency repairs are making a mess of things. As much as you can stay local on the city streets like broad street although now theres a crash in south philadelphia at broad and snyder. If youre going farther, i would work my way into new jersey via the Commodore Barry bridge and then run 295 and the northbound jersey turnpike up into Burlington County and work your way back over into pennsylvania. Theres a crash on the boulevard to watch out for northbound past devereaux in the outer drive and in plumstead township bucks county a new wreck is shutting down 313 at swamp road her ring road is a possible alternate. But very cool. 50 right now trenton as well as allentown, mount pocono, 51 philadelphia reading and wilmington as well as cape may and lancaster along with the boardwalk and beach haven all those temperatures are only in the upper 40s. Double scan live showing that this band of rain is lifting north and east of our region and off the coast as we widen with the next area of rain you can see across northern pennsylvania and that earlier looked like it would be swinging in here but that is also lifting up to the north and east so we are getting a lull in the rain but that being said it is cold and it is cloudy and it is damp. It will be a felt like spring at all in the past three days. Todays high 53 degrees, three days in a row with temperatures stuck in the 50. The normal high for this time of the year is now up to 69. We will be nowhere near that this weekends.
