Everyone outside and happy because the weather has been fantastic. Lets take it over to adam joseph see what we have in store for the weekend. Hi there. Pretty much exactly what were feeling today will continue saturday into sunday but those temperatures will get even warmer each day. As we look live on sky6 from cape may this looks like a beautiful shot. It is but if youre at the shore the temperatures are a whole lot cooler, very typical in the spring to see a big drop in temperature as you head to the shore. With that wind coming in off the water, the atlantic, which is only about 50 degrees, its 52 cape may 52 in beach haven. As far inland as millville 57, dover 58 but then you head to the north and west away from that easterly wind, 63 trenton, 64 philadelphia, allentown, reading and lancaster right now sitting at 60 degrees. High pressure remains in control and as you can see, nothing in the way of cloud cover way up to the north and off to our east where a storm is kind of stuck over the open waters of the atlantic and it is not moving in our direction. So, for the phillies in town we got a new competitor, washington is in town, its mostly clear, 7 05 your first pitch at 61 degrees with a light southeasterly wind. The ninth inning your temperature dropping to around 53 so definitely need to bring a light jacket to the bank. As we look at numbers tonight, not as chilly as the last few into the but there could be patchy frost special in the interior sections of southern new jersey. 33 toms river. As we look at future tracker temperatures tomorrow afternoon 65, philadelphia 63, millville 64 and allentown so a very pleasant day and by sunday afternoon temperatures going into the lower 70s but much cooler at the shore, only in the 50s and something we have to think about now that we have that sun angle a little bit higher the temps in the afternoon getting warmer we have to remind ourselves of something we dont like to think about but need to be reminded of. Stanford university did a study about cars and keeping pets or infants in the cars. The cars interior heats up 40 degrees an hour when the air temperature starts to hit 72. So, no matter if its 72 out or 96 degrees outside you get that 40degree hour kick up. Temperature in the car in 80 percent of that rise is within the first half hour with the interior can reach 112 to 136 degrees. That four day at 4 00 forecast we have to remind ourselves because with these temperatures and again that sun angle getting higher with no clouds were 67 here saturday, 74 degrees on sunday with spring perfection and then 80 here on monday, very warm and a brief cooldown coming in tuesday with temperatures sliding back into the 60s. So, overall its a really nice four day forecast. Thank you. Stunning. How quickly it heats up is unreal. Doesnt take long. Adam thank you. A terrifying stay at a local motel. One says its okay to take millions from big banks and then tell them what to do. My plan break up the big banks, close the tax loopholes, and make them pay their fair share. Then we can expand health care to all, and provide universal college education. Will they like me . No. Will they begin to play by the rules if im president . You Better Believe it. Im Bernie Sanders and i approve this message. Meteorologist adam joseph joining us with the accuweather forecast. Feels like everybody is in a great mood today. Yes. Its friday, its the weekend on the way. Were not tracking snow this weekend, were tracking sunshine and above normal temperatures so we have all the right reasons to put that smile on. Good news. As we take a look at the action cam, those dandy lions are back. If youre a lawn lover these are your enemies. But a beautiful dandelion there soon to be turning white and then you make a wish as you blow the seeds away. You never did that as a kid. Of course. Then you get more dandelions. Never mind. It will turn white and then you blow and make a wish and the seeds go all over the lawn. Anyway as we take a look right now double scan live was that a northern thing. Not much going on much lots of sunshine here, another dry day. The temperature 64 degrees. Right now in philadelphia. The dewpoint low 27, winds out of the eastsoutheast at seven. You see those low 50s at the shore. Expect that again tomorrow and then a little better on sunday at the shore in the upper 50s near 60 while inland locations right now mid 60s going into the upper 60s and 70s the second half of the weekend. Theres that High Pressure protecting not only the midatlantic, the northeast, the great lakes with all the weather systems revolving around that high, so we are in the sweet spot here if you like this kind of weather with all of the wet weather along the gulf coast states and then wrapping around into the northern plains. Tonight back at home its clear, chilly a calm wind, 35 in the suburbs, 42 degrees for center city. No longer do we have a frost advisory or freeze warnings overnight tonight like the last couple of nights but as we look at the setup that high still in control to our north. Beautiful inland. 67 degrees but only 55 at the shore. Low pressure which is just off the coast will sit here and kind of drift just to our south and east as High Pressure kind of moves from our north to our west, everything is kind of working backwards here with a warm a cold front coming in from the north so its even warmer on sunday. 84 degrees, 60 at the shore so again fyoure heading to the shore, bring a light jacket especially with that wind coming in off the water. But we do have that dry stretch that continues and looks to be pretty long. Its likely to be a nine day dry stretch that began last wednesday on the 13th and could last through next thursday and this hasnt happened in nearly four months to have such a long prolonged dry period where we had 11 days back in the middle of december of last year. The exclusive accuweather 7day forecast, 67 full sun for tomorrow. Perfection here on sunday, 74 degrees, jumping to 80 here on monday with just a few high clouds. That front to the north slides through on tuesday, comes through dry, just 68 degrees so we do get a little cool down here tuesday into wednesday but then it heats right back up to 77 on thursday and the first chance for any showers comes a week from now on friday with temperatures still pretty balmy at 75 degrees. So, what a turn around from the snow of last week. Absolutely. Yes. Love it. Adam thank you. Freebie friday is up next with ways you can get out and enjoy this beautiful weekend.
