Lets turn to david and karen. Good morning. And i live in new jersey. One of those spots where we really have dense fog. Delaware county was another one. We have a dense fog advisory across virtually the entire region up until about 8 oclock this morning. Some of you might linger a little beyond that. Visibility has been below a quarter mile just about everywhere at least in spots so do be careful out there on your way in this morning. As we take a look at satellite, most of our cloud cover beginning to dig out above the surface. Once we burn thing to off we should wind up with a decent amount of sunshine. 71 degrees in philadelphia, 67 degrees in allentown and 73 in cape may. As you look at these numbers its also still a bit humid out there this morning. As we take a look at where numbers are going today, 85 degrees by noon. By 3 oclock 88 and then by 5 oclock 87. We should see a fair amount of sunshine coming back. Some of the models are suggesting maybe a little cloudy up until the midday hours but i think the sun is on its way back fairly bright later. By 7 oclock, 86 degrees. And humidity levels may drop a little bit as the day goes on. And then we have another big issue and this is down the shore. Rare that we post this but at the shore today, a high risk of rip currents dangerous surf. This goes for the jersey beaches and the delaware beaches all because of that hurricane passing us by well off the coast. More on all of this and the return of humidity one day this week we can feature strong thunderstorms, too. Karen thats all ahead in the seven day. All right dave. You got to deal with the fog as youre driving out. Be careful in some areas its really dense. Were looking live at the schuylkill expressway. You see a hint of the fog here but the big issue with the schuylkill is construction thats still going on. We see the cones set up there right now. This is the schuylkill between city avenue and conshohocken, the right lane still blocked westbound in this area for construction. So, look for that. Also eastbound between gulph mills and belmont also blocking the right lane and then another crew is set up westbound near broad street and thats blocking the right lane so we have lots of crews out there working on the schuylkill slowing you dont even at this early hour and you see just a little bit of that fog. We have an accident involving a motorcycle out here already this morning. So look for crews on the scene helping with this accident on i95 northbound approaching 332 in morrisville bucks county. The right lane blocked with that. Vine street expressway shut down for overnight construction. Hopefully you were watching yesterday when i warped warned you it would happen. Crews return 11 oclock tonight and shut the vine down. If youre down in cape may millville dover places like that those dewpoints and higher humidity will be with you for most of the day. Here is the fog report. Visibility is down below a half mile in allentown trenton lancaster millville and at the airport in Atlantic City below a mile in wilmington and dover. Similar numbers in trenton, allentown, reading and lancaster, even millville at 86 and down the shore it looks like the low 80s today but the issue down the shore is rip currents and this is all because of hurricane gert which is still a category one hurricane still passing us by today. Eventually becoming a category two out in the middle of nowhere. This is one of the rare days where we have a high risk of rip currents of the its going to be dangerous for all swimmers.
