We start to pull them more out of the west and the northwest and cooler air starts to march in during the afternoon so if you have errands or anything to get done outside early, the mildest part of the day is going to be around midday and then by 3 oclock were down to 50, mid 40s by 5 oclock and 39 by 7 oclock with a breeze picking up as the day goes on as well. It looks like were in for some light snow thursday night into saturday morning. Breaking this morning, a woman says she returned to her holmesburg home and found her boyfriend dead. The door was opened. The 37yearold was shot in the head. Annie mccormick is outside the eighth District Police headquarters. Reporter eighth District Police officers and medics were the first to respond to that home in the 8,000 block of erdrec street. This happened around 10 oclock last night when Police Responded to an apartment. Thats where the 37yearold victims girlfriend made the discovery. She told police she left their apartment that they share with each other and returned to find her boyfriend face down in the bedroom next to his bed suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Now, damage to the apartment prompted investigators to call in homicide detectives. In addition to the victims body, there was another bedroom in the apartment that app feared have been ransacked. There were some dresser drawers that were pulled out. There was also some fresh damage to a closet door. So, at this time it appears to be a homicide. Reporter and investigators on the scene just removed a vehicle just towed a vehicle from the area. Police also say that there are a number of friends of the victims that showed up after hearing the news. Those friends along with the girlfriend have been taken down to homicide for questioning to see if they can help at all find out who is responsible. Police commissioner richard ross says the girl refused commands to back away and admits to smacking the officer in the face knocking off her glasses. A source tells action news the video and witness statements seem to indicate that pendleton never intentionally tried to harm the officer. Again around 2 oclock down in cape may youll start to feel that temperature begin to dip. And then tomorrow thursday a high of only 36 degrees. Lots of clouds out there. Wind chills in the 20s. Tomorrow will be a rather raw day. And a frontal boundary gets off the coast but then an area of low pressure forms and comes up the coast overnight thursday night into friday morning and thats the feature that looks like its going to have cold enough air in place to give us a little bit of light snow.
