This happened at 52nd near spruce street in West Philadelphia at about 2 00 a. M. Police say the driver struck the 46yearold victim and threw him from the bicycle upon impact. And new this morning, a man is in Critical Condition after being shot twice in the back in north philadelphia. It happened along the 2300 block of north gratz street late last night. Police rushed the man to Temple University hospital. It was unclear who shot the man or why. Also new, overnight gunfire in the citys kensington section. Bullets started flying near york and fairhill streets at 1 00 a. M. Neighbors reported hearing numerous gun shots. Police found a motorcycle and two cars shot up but at this point police have not found any shooting victims. Authorities in delaware say the death of a teenager following a school fight in a bathroom was caused by a preexisting condition. However the Attorney Generals Office is still going ahead with charges against three juveniles involved. Action News Reporter Annie Mccormick is live at Howard High School offing in of technon wilmington. Reporter three classmates are now charged in connection with her death. One of the students who does face the most serious charge prosecutors say they want her to be charged as an adult rather than a juvenile. Action news is not identifying the names of the three because they are minors but according to police only one of the three actually struck joynerfrancis. She is charged with criminally negligent homicide and police say she repeatedly hit the teen victim with a closed fist in the head and torso. Now the other two girls are charged with criminal conspiracy. Investigators say they reviewed video of the fight which happened on april 21st where afterwards joynerfrancis is seen struggling to get up from the floor disoriented then she collapsed. Now investigators say she laid on the floor until someone called for help. She later died at the hospital. But according to the medical examiner, a preexisting medical condition may have contributed to her death. Amy died from a cardiac incident that was have you that she was vulnerable to because of a preexisting heart condition but the cardiac incident would not have occurred if she had not been assaulted. Now counties sill woman Sherri Dorsey walker spoke on behalf of the young victims family. At the end of the day nothing brings amy back, so whatever the charges are, their issue is amy is never coming home. Reporter now, the Delaware Department of justice, they are the ones who brought those charges, they did meet with Amy Joyner Francis family before making the announcement. A Sexual Assault on a student at a West Philadelphia school. Authorities say both the female victim and the alleged attacker are freshman at the high school at 58th and walnut streets. School Officials Say they have Surveillance Video of the suspect walking the halls at the time of the assault back on friday of last week after dismissal. He is now suspended. No charges have been filed. A crash in New Castle County delaware sent three people to the hospital. It also left a mess of mangled metal on Lancaster Pike and mcgovern road in hockessin. The collision sent one car off the need a fence trapping two of the victims. All three Crash Victims are in serious condition. This was the scene from chopper6 as it captured video of Police Arrested arthur buckel. They apprehended him along the garden state parkway in lacy township yesterday morning. This happened just moments after a passing driver reported seeing a man in the woods. Buckel had been the subject of a manhunt since he escaped from a minimum security facility in hammonton back on tuesday of last week. Police say he had signaled through a Family Member that he was interd in turning himself in but failed to show. It is unclear where buckel was staying during his nearly full week on the run. An 11yearold boy is charged with arson and hate crimes in connection with a fire on a bus outside a Jewish Elementary School in new york. Surveillance video captured sundays arson attack. Police say a group of 10 and 11yearolds used a bic lighter pieces of cardboard and pages avenue jewish prayer book to start the fire. They say this was a deliberate attack against the Jewish Community. Zehlif says she was hurt and embarrassed by the whole ordeal and decided to take her complaint to the council on americanislamic relations. The general manager at a dominos in salem noticed 48yearold Kirk Alexander had not ordered a pizza in more than a week. When police arrived, they found alexander in need of medical attention. He is now in the hospital in fair condition.
