To the forecast today. A little better than yesterday in some ways. Right now we have very little cloud cover out there so that frontal boundary that came through yesterday sweeping those high clouds through at times is now down to our south and thats where the clouds are living as well. Temperatures this morning not too bad. 52 degrees in philadelphia. We have slipped into the low to mid 40s in places like allentown and reading. 47 in millville. 53 in cape may. Theres not as much wind out there today as there was generally through the day yesterday so mainly clear but calm on the bus stop this morning. A bit cool. 47 degrees by 6 oclock and then were back up to about 50 by 8 oclock. As we roll through the days, it wont be quite as warm as yesterday but were looking at a lot more sunshine. 55 degrees by 9 oclock. 62 by 11 oclock. We spend the majority of the afternoon in the 60s. With a Late Afternoon of 70. Well probably hit that around 4 oclock. The winds arent going to be as strong as yesterday. Nine pollen counter still running high. We were hoping it would drop off a little bit on friday but i think the reasoning as of now is that while there will be showers around thursday night into friday theyre not going to be prevalent enough to make that much of a difference. Heading into the weekend keep those kleenexes and medications handy. Speaking of which matt pelman well talk more about that rain and talk more about the weekend coming up in that sevenday forecast. Speaking of which you know i have the allergies, yes, so this is a problem but luckily were getting through and if you can get out this morning enjoy the moon, it is bright, it is beautiful but already we have some issues that are going to give us some headaches as the morning progresses on the roadways and the bridges. Delaware Memorial Bridge, delaware bound still has that emergency construction that i was talking about all yesterday afternoon. Just the one right lane is available as you head into delaware from south jersey this morning. Theyre hoping as the morning progresses to open a second lane but right now its just one lane so if i were you and you normally take the delaware memorial into delaware i would try and use the Commodore Barry into Delaware County instead. Well be keeping tabs on that all morning long. Northern delaware a fire location to avoid all foulk road near namaans creek road. The vine street expressway was shut down last night. Theyre in the process of reopening the westbound lanes. Eastbound remains blocked at least for a little bit longer. Out here on 422 in the king of prussia area still overnight construction not quite gone. These are the westbound lanes by 23 but the crews should be gone before too long. Tam. Okay, thank you, matt. And new this morning, a massive fire destroyed a home in bucks county. An action news viewer sent us video of the raging flames on the 2200 block of pal mean no, sir drive. The fire started just after 11 oclock last night. The flames were through the roof when the firefighters got to the scene and at one point firefighters were actually pulled out from the inside of the home because the fire was so intense. You can see just how tall those flames are in that viewer video. The Philadelphia Police helicopter offered assistance and the pilot shared this photo where again you get another perspective on just how big that fire was. It took them an hour to get it under control but thankfully no reports of injury. Donald trump and Hillary Clinton as expected scored solid wins in the New York Primary and forming more direct routes to their partys nominations. Clinton is now 80 percent of the way to clinching the democratic nod. She extended a land to supporters of Bernie Sanders last night. And to all the people who supported senator sanders, i believe there is much more that United States us than divides us. [cheers and applause] trump captured more than 60 percent of the vote in new york and claimed at least half of the states 95 delegates. Theres noplace like home. Candidates are now preparing for the next big showdown, tuesdays primary in five states including pennsylvania and delaware. Despite last nights loss Bernie Sanders is still in. Tuesday he focused on voters in happy valley. It looks like penn state is ready for a political revolution. [cheers and applause] reporter sanders will meet voters thursday had in reading. Ted cruz appeared upbeat and positive last night at the National Constitution even after learning he lost new york. It is fantastic to be in philadelphia and pennsylvania is going to be a battleground. Reporter a bass tell ground it will be. 71 delegates are on the line in the commonwealth, 54 unbound. John kasich was in pittsburgh and will bring his campaign to both delaware and chester counties on thursday and donald trump who also took a big new york win so far as no stops planned pennsylvania. Leaving winnable delegates on the table. He plans nobody delaware on friday. And pennsylvania is one of five states that has their primary on tuesday. Cant say it will be raining all the time but at times youll have showers. 77 a warm high. Behind that, system gets out of here, sun returns and saturday is looking a little bit better.
