Dont get that changeover to rain until midday, between 11 oclock in the morning and 2 oclock in the afternoon and that ice could cause a lot of problems. This is the break down for that storm. The first part occurring Early Saturday Morning midday that snow to ice to rain. The problem areas, the far northwest suburbs. 9 30 its raining along the i95 corridor but we have a lot of icing across parts of lehigh valley, northern berks county, the poconos and then we get some dry air. A lull in the action by 1 oclock, just clouds, a little bit of drizzle possible and then we get that second part of the system arriving on sunday. As far as the front end snow, extreme south jersey, delaware, youre not going to see anything. You get closer to interior south jersey, New Castle County could get a coating to an inch. Again this is before that changeover to rain. Philadelphia right on that 1 inch line. The northwest suburbs one to 3 inches but then you get north of reading, you get into lehigh valley, the poconos, this is where we get higher accumulations about three to 5inches before some of that icing and then the rain. This is my biggest concern, the icing. North of the pennsylvania turnpike were looking at the potential for one to 210ths of an inch of ice. That could coat any untreated surfaces right weigh. Very slippery. If you have errands to do good idea to wait until later dain the day after about 2, 3 oclock. North of the pennsylvania turnpike should be getting a lot better.
