In each case, the thief showed up wearing any one of a variety of outfits from a suit and tie to hoodies and of course the straw hat for which hes best known. The a assailant has displayed a black colored semi automatic handgun during each of the robberies u investigators say they believe the suspect is driving a truck that looks like this one. Theyre describing it as a late model white gmc sierra or Chevy Silverado way white cap covering the bed. Meanwhile the suspect is described as a white male between 6 feet and sixtwo approximately 200 pounds and between the ages of 40 and 60. Also, since the robberies occurred in the same general area, its believed the straw hat bandit may live somewhere in the northern parter of the dellly. Now given his clean cut appearance we feel our suspect is hiding in plain sight. He could live in your neighborhood. Reporter investigators say the straw hat bandit has gotten away with a total of at least 100,000 and they would very much like to catch him before he strikes again. Reporter the school says if there is a walkout students should report to their classes saying some professors may not strike or there may be another qualified individual taking over the class. I dont see how they can find so many professors to substitute especially all 14 state schools. In a three year deal the system says it is offering for more than seven to more than 17 percent hike in pay depending on years of service. It wants staff to pay more for medical insurance and wants more part timers. There are also sticking points over the work loads for part time professors and other quality of life classroom issues. If there is a walkout and it goes more than a week or two, some students worry there may be makeup classes during the thanksgiving break, flights or on weekends.
