Reporter Laurie Henderson would see the family that live here and this morning a mother father and their adult daughter were at the home just before 7 30 when a fire broke out. A manhunt for two escaped murderers that escaped from an upstate prison they continue to scour the woods not far from the clinton facility. They believe that matt and sweat are still together they are looking for video to see if the pair looked through trash for food. Joyce mitchell is working with investigators to see if she was to supply the get away car and never showed. We are learning more from her as far as her involvement and her relationships with both matt and sweat and from that we are developing leads that we continue to investigate. Mitchell could face felony charges but so far she has not been charged and questions that her husband may be involved. The District Attorney confirms that mitchell did bring contraband in the prison but never provided the men with power tools. It had all the makings of a hollywood movie but decades ago an escape like that one happened here in philadelphia. Reporter Police Believe that convicted murderers popped out of a manhole to freedom to escape new yorks clinton maximum security prison. That was last week but here at eastern penitentiary, that is an old story. It has a lot of similarities. This is the cell where it all happened. This is the cell inmate of clarence kleinden. He was working on masonry work around the prison he used the tools to make this hole, and would cover it with plaster so the prison guard would have no idea.
