Thankfully we have done a lot of training and discussing it, our institutions are prepared to evacuate and take it seriously no matter what kind of call but of course this is threatening and disrupting and our children are feeling scared. Reporter there may be fear, there may be hatred but these religious leaders vow top stand together along with their faith communities to fight against it. Americas filled with examples of bigotry but American History is also filled with occurrences of Coalition Building and love and solidarity. Reporter at todays gathering these religious leaders announced theyve pulled together what they hope will be a large gathering on Independence Mall on thursday at noon. Today a judge denied a motion by cosbys attorneys to move the trial entirely. They claim moving the hearing to philadelphia or pittsburgh would make it hes yeser to find unbiased jurors. Prosecutors claim the defense is trying to shop for a more favorable jury not an unbiased one. The judge in cosbys case turned down the request to move the trial but will allow the jury pool to be selected outside of Montgomery County. The next race for a senate seat in pennsylvania is already under way more than 20 months from election day. Rick ciccone declared his candidacy today. Hes a strong backer of President Trump. Sac cone is looking to stop senator bob casey from getting a third term in the u. S. Senate. The democrats retain control of the Delaware State Senate this weekend. Stephanie hanson won saturdays special election for the states tenth district once held by now Lieutenant Governor bethany halllong. Both former Vice President joe biden and former Maryland GovernorMartin Omalley campaigned on hansons behalf. Hanson says she got a personal call from biden after saturdays victory. He was very congratulatory for all of the people that have worked so hard on the campaign and very hopeful that this is sending the right message back to washington. More than 30 percent of registered voters turned out for saturdays election. Hanson will be sworn in next month. President trump is looking for a multi billion dollar boost in defense spending in his first budget to congress. That proposal will include a 54 billiondollar raise for defense. We have found out the past few years, though, that february can be really cold and it can be really warm. Two years ago was our seventh coldest february on record, temperatures running close to 10 degrees below normal. We had 14 days stuck below freezing and seven of those days temperatures were only in the teens and 20s. Fast forward to this february, our warmest on record temperatures running more than 8 degrees above normal. We had 15 days above 50 degrees and we had four days last week in the 70s and that is a record and we will be ending the month of february on a warm note. Well, Authorities Say a part of a human leg washed up along the Delaware River shore line in that National Park over the weekend. It was no clothing or markings on the him. No other body parts were found. The medical Examiners Office is now trying to determine the persons identity. A surveillance cam ram captured a man taking potted plants from the front of a home on the 100 block of bainbridge street. This was in the middle of the night back on january 17th. New Orleans Police say its too soon to say if any new safety rules will be established in light of the incident. A Police Officer in minnesota has pleaded not guilty to charges that he killed philando castillo. Officers jeronimo yanez. Castillos girlfriend was in the carly he told him not to shoot because he was not grabbing had us gun. She live streamed the interaction with yanez after that shooting. Yanez thought castillo was an armed robber. A car plunged seven stories off a parking deck and landed upside down on a business in houston texas. Incredibly the teenaged driver was still able to crawl out of that wreckage. Doctors say he wont even need surgery if you can imagine. It drags the cold front and a new developing, a second wave of energy and the second wave will mean a little more business as it pushes through in the form of a cold front late on wednesday. But ahead of it on wednesday, southerly winds, up to 74 degrees, a couple degrees shy of the record of 76 set back in 1972 and then as that front passes through, it will trigger some severe storms from the midatlantic down to the deep south. The greatest risk for Severe Weather will be down towards the Tennessee Valley and just to the west of atlanta and will be within a slight risk of Severe Weather and you can see were on the far northern end of this, kind of on the edge, most of the Severe Weather will stay down to the south. Monday night, south Jersey Police say a woman made up the story of her attempted abduction and a problem sewer pipe floods a neighborhood in the kensington section of philadelphia. But the big story on action news tonight is despicable vandalism and threats apparently aimed at the Jewish Community. Somebody desecrated the jewish Mount Carmel Cemetery in the wissinoming section of philadelphia over the weekend. Overturning and damaging more than a hundred grave stones. This came just a week after the same thing happened at a Jewish Cemetery in saint louis. But thats not all. Two Delaware ValleyJewish Community centers and a jewish preschool had to be evacuated today but lets focus on the cemetery first.
